Hi there. I know my neighbors well enough, to go and have a decent chat in the mornings or evenings, over our children and the happenings in our town, neigborhood and even over our gardens and what we have growing in them. We as neighbours all exchange fruit and vege, I have great neighbours... How about you?...

My residence is facing a main road in the east and to the west there is another small lane. To the north, a big building without windows is formed. To the south, my residence wall without windows is lined up. Where are the neighbours? I do not even hear, if they play music with full volume, nor I can hear the quarrels that usually heard. We are at absolute peace, myself, my wife and my son. Occasionally we get relatives and they are our neighbours.

I don't have any really close neighbors out in the country, they're far enough away that if I'd yell to them they'd never hear me, lol. The one neighbor I know well enough to know that I'd like to not get involved outside of a 'hey, how are ya' basis. I won't be rude to them, but I don't have to get involved in their drama either! The other neighbor I've known my whole life. If she ever had a problem I'd be there to help her in a heartbeat. What goes around comes around, I know she'd be there for me too if I needed her or some advice or something.

Yes i do know my neighbor because in our area almost all people know each other and they are pretty honest with each other.

I live in rural altantic canada and I do know my neighors by name. To my right the house is empty. But in front of me and to the left of me there are two different families that I know and have been over to their houses and stuff. I wouldn't say they are my bestest friends but we get along and are friendly. Behind my is the woods. It is weird down here not to know your neighbors. When I lived in Toronto I almost never knew my neighbors. I think because we have to share such a small space (like an apartment building) we try to respect each others space and ming our business, but in the country everyone knows your business. LOL Vicki
