Well, time for a little bragging. My bf really is the best and all I could have wished for. I never really thought that it could be like this.
To go from a relation with abuse to this is like going from hell to heaven.
Anyways, he has told me that there is no way that i will pass up on the chanse to go on holidays with my mom and he has also given me $600 spending money so that I will not have to worry about that either. Isn´t he soo sweet =)
I am so glad to have him in my life - always there to pick me up when I am down and always there to make me smile.
LOVE is such a wonderful thing =)

Well I'm very happy for you Marie hun! I wasted 15 years with a guy who was useless and have been with my 2nd husband for 5 years now and there is no comparison. I have to remember to thank my lucky stars each day that I have a man who is a real man, someone who can make decisions and who I can laugh and joke with, who tells me every day how much he loves me and puts me first in his life above all else. He makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world and make me believe in love again. I am glad for both of us that we got our just desserts in the end and ended up with men who are right for us. Make sure you keep hold of him hun! x

it is really strange to even compare my ex with him since they are and the relationship are like night and day. I would definately not trade him for anything =)

Marie, it's so nice to see good things posted about someone on here. You keep that guy...he's definitely a keeper. Just remember to bring him a nice present when you go back home. You and your mom will have a great time. Take plenty of pictures so your b/f can see how much you enjoyed the time with your mom. The gift will show him how much you appreciate him and how much you missed him while you were gone.

Yeah, will definately bring him back loads of gifts and we have agreed that we are going to talk atleast once a day over the phone so that is nice as well. I am sure I will miss him, but I will survive that as well .-D

I know how you are feeling, I spent 23 years of my life and two marriages with abuse and cheating in them, and now god has blessed my life with the most loving guy a person can have. I have been with my boyfriend now for 4 years and it has been that time of my life.

I so can relate to this. Coming from an abuse relation it is hard to adjust to beeing treated good at times =)

i'm really happy for you... it is really fortunate of you to have such a wonderful bf... i have a wonderful hubby as well and i love him so much... he does a lot of sweet things for me as well... we have to cherish te people that we love while we can... right??? :-)

That is very nice that you have a wonderful boyfriend who really loves and cares about you and is there for you all the time. I am sure it is a great feeling and hope that he continues to love you and treat you well like that. I have yet to find a girlfriend that I can love and treat well like that but am still looking.
