Everytime I have a baby it seems like my shoes size has increased. I use to wear a 7. Now I think I may have to go to a size 8. Its been 7 weeks since I had the baby do you think my feet will go back to their normal size or should I start shoe shopping now. I liked some of my old shoes and never really got to wear them much. Maybe I need to find a shoe exchange lol.

Nope. They will not go back. I am well studied on pregnancy and one thing I don't like, but I'll live with, is that your feet will swell, and get larger, and they will not get smaller again, they will stay that size. I got this from Parenting Magazine and also a book called "What To Expect When You Are Expecting" You should check it out, its a great book in a month by month format ^_^

I used to be a size 7, had two kids, and now I am a size 8... sort of. I think rather it might be width that is the issue and that if they made just plain shoes with width sizes then me might not have to go up a full shoe size. I bought sandals last year that are flopping around on me this year. I think the size lower were too tight - in the width. But most of my shoes are a size 8.
Also, shoe sizing may have changed like clothing sizing has. I have a couple pairs of shoes that are actually a size 6 and they fit so it could be sizing changing, though I'm not sure that has happened.

that is a very commmon thing. why does that happen i have no idea but it is very common. i went from a 7 to a 8-8 1/2 depending on the shoes. it is a pain because i have all of these great shoes now that i can no longer wear.

I found out the hard way that my feet did grow when I was pregnant with my first baby. He was born at the end of June, so I was either barefoot or wearing sandals most of the time. When the fall rolled around and I started wearing my other shoes - I ended up with ingrown toenails. It was horrible and extremely painful. I almost had to go to a Podiatrist to have my toenails removed because of infection. After the antibiotics kicked in, I was able to fix them myself. (I know that is gross, sorry!) Anyway, I found out my shoe size went from a 7 1/2 to an 8 1/2 wide. My foot didn't grow again with my second pregnancy. . .thankfully. It seems I can wear a size 8 in most styles of shoe now. . .my youngest is 4, so maybe with time they shrunk again. Who knows?!?!?

I had the same thing happen. My feet are wide as it is so I normally have to buy a 1/2 ize big unless I can get them in wide.
I am hoping the next time they won't grow because I don't want to have boats...lol. I have cut down on the number of shoes I own though because it may happen.
