have you ever been so lazy that you just wanted to lay down in your bed, stare at your ceiling and just think about anything from stupid things to just nothing at all? have this ever happened to you? yes to me. ^__^;;
it happened to me a few times. I'm just lying in my bed, staring at anything, not moving, until flies were flying over me and roots have grown in my body... LOL I just wanted to be blank and useless for a while. ^__^;; I snapped out of it whe I felt I was hungry. LOL
so did this happen to you? ^__^

Oh my, I am queen sofa and duvet woman. I love to get up, take my duvet and just vegetate on the sofa, doing absolutely nothing. I am now a professional and going for my masters!!!
It is so relaxing to just stare at nothing, give my brain a well deserved rest and slowly and only when I am ready, pull myself back to reality.
The weekends have to be the best time for me, Its great and I don't care...:))

I have had plenty of these days before and sometimes I actually did nothing all day but lay in bed. I know that I can not do this very often since things around the house needed taken care of as well as going to work and spending time with family and friends and doing other things. Lately I have been feeling so tired and out of it and wish that I could lay in bed for a whole week and do nothing.

oh yeah. we can't afford to be lazy for a long period of time. there are things needed to be done, if not for others, then for ourselves. ^__^
I can't stand to be lazy for a week though. I don't think you could manage to do it either. ^__^

Yes absolutely. I often feel like that, especially during the weekends. I am not sure if it's because my brain works so much during weekdays that it doesn't want to work anymore during weekends or something. Sometimes, I just sit in my bed, I don't want to get online, don't want to read a book, just not interested in doing anything! I try and wander off in my dreamland for a little while, then I would tell myself to enjoy life to the fullest. Usually I would end up playing computer games.

u-huh. there's something about weekends that makes us lazy and like the bed and the couch has this magnet and attracts us every now and then. LOL i have own dreamland too and i visit it once in a while and see if the people there missed their queen. LOL and then i'd leave dreamland and go in a dark limbo where i dont have to think of anything. ^__^;;
computer game is a nice way to end it. LOL its dvds for me though. ^__^

It feels so great when you do this occassionally as a resort from the long, tiring, busy day or from the long, pressured week. I usually do this at night as I get home from work or on weekends probably on a Saturday.
We deserve this break, this kind of resting where you just lie on your bed, stare at the ceiling, thinking of nothing as if freeing one's self from the worries of life and work. I consider this a way of also pampering myself and really, compensating enough!

I have had moments where I don't want to do anything at all. I just want to lie still and not think about anything. This is what I call my moment of nothingness. I block out anything and everything. I don't try to hink about problems or things that I need to decide on. I just simply let myself be immersed in total tranquility.

I never seems to fail that when I wake up in one of those moods, something happens that I can't even enjoy it. Visitors, phone, kids, a hubby that thinks I need to work. (sigh) someday I'll get a chance to enjoy my do nothing day if it's the last thing I do. :)

hey creematee! you should take a break once in a while. all work and no play might drive you crazy. ^__^;; tell your hubby it isn't so easy to be a wife and a mother. if he's stubborn tell him to do all your work for a day and lets see if he'll still pressure you. ^__^

It has happened to me several times.I just sit or lie down doing nothing..simply seeing fixed and my mind waving.only when i get some loud noise or any of my home people touches me to tell something i get back.It happens while going into some deep thoughts about an issue to solve.
But i hate this laziness but cant help ot to be like this sometimes.

we cant help but be lazy sometimes. we dont have to hate it, we just have to let it flow. it helps us regenerate and think of other things. it may even help us think of a great idea. ^__^

hello secretbear,
hey you are lucky that it happened with you just few times.for me its on all weekends.ohh god at that moment i wish i were flat.i just lie down on my bed and want a deep good sleep.i don't find much quality time for sleep due to my daily routine and office works.so week days are those that gives me much time.and i tend to be too lazy that i don't even get up for my lunch or dinner.i would spend the whole day sleeping.

hi rinku! ^__^ I get lazy on weekends too! I also work in an office and that's 5 days in a week. I always crave for weekends since its the only time where I can do nothing, sleep late, wake up late, eat late, and do everything late! LOL there's no pressure, there's no boss, there's no pesky officemates, no office! LOL I love weekends!

oh yes. if we have so much free time we tend to lay back and put off the things we have to do. its like, "i'll do this later, I have lots of free time anyway". and we keep putting it off until we cram and fail to do somethings. I hate it when that happens to me. ^__^;;
