Are Black People Lower In I.Q than Whites?

So who out there in blogland believes in eugenics?
Back during the turn of the 20th century, America, and Great Britain were major players with the idealism of a perfect people and society. Scientists and social philosophers wanted to understand the relationships of "race" and "civilization" Some went even so far as explaining that everything in the Bible talks about who was cursed and who was blessed.
Great minds such as Shaw, Singer, Bell, and Churchill all agreed that Whites were the most intelligent race of all. They confirmed all of these things by the amount of inventions to society and the progression of the world civilization throughout the ages. Hitler in Mein Kemp tried to explain why pure Whites in Germany were the smartest of all Whites and that mixing with inferior races will destroy White society and civilization.
When you look at eugenics, it was a philosophy which dealt with the concept of purifying the human race or a race of birth defects physically and mentally. The ideas of eugenics is to make society a utopia based on the fittest in society genetically. It is the want of a perfect human being on the outside, inside, and in the head.
I.Q played a small part in the eugenics movement. The smartest people were not always the best lookers. As a matter of fact, how many nerds do you find are great looking?
Now when you apply I.Q to race, heres where it can get interesting.
We tried to not speak on this subject in anthropolgy, biology, and sociobiology classes due to the extreme subject matter.
I recently looked at a scale placing where the races of people were when using sheer brain power. It had Jews who were first, Whites that were a close second, third were Asians (Japanese being the smartest followed by Chinese), fourth being slightly Hispanics, and dead last were Blacks.
I thought to myself, man I must be stupid to believe this scale or just stupid. I took a I.Q test scoring at least 120. On average It said that Blacks had an I.Q of 82. For Whites on average, it was at least 100.
What do you think? Do you believe the stats about Blacks under performing when compared to Whites and Asians?

Possibly, but I don't believe it's entirely down to race, but more to do with the opportunities of people of each race.
A way to measure how well someone will do in life is to look at their family's socioeconomic status. This accounts for the family income, the parents' education level, the parents' occupation and their social standing in community.
And so it's said that if you have a high socioeconomic status, you are more likely to be successfull.
In western countries I think as a generalization, white people often have a higher socioeconomic status than black people. And as your scale suggests, Jews (particularly in the US) have a higher status than other whites.

Yes I do. I don't like generalization but sociobiology is a physical thing that can't be ignored. Like you say, nerds are often not good looking. Black people don't do well academically but do better in athletics.
But I think it's also important to concider what chances we all get in life. I live in a town where there is a big divide between the rich and the poor - the rich live in million pound houses and the poor live in council houses. When I was at school it was clear who was rich and who was poor and usually the rich did better academically than the poor. This could be down to anything - the richer people might have more drive to succeed and impress, they might have better role models, etc.
I think the two might even go together. If a family of people have historically had a good socioeconomic status with a history of intelligence - the father had a high IQ, as did the grand father, great grandfather, etc. It is probably more likely the child will be born with a high IQ.
But it's also probably more likely for a white family to have that in a western country, than it is for a black family and that's where sociobiology comes in.

Ok, that makes sense.
I also believe in sociobiology.
Believe it or not, I also believe in eugenics to a certain a degree as well. I do not talk about it because it can go along racial lines. I must be careful. I even read up on some of the proponets of eugenics movements.
