Well let me see... I use the lawn mower, then rake the grass clippings and put them in the garden so I don't have to weed. Weeding is my last choice on the list. I always seem to get blisters on my hands when I rake. Doesn't matter if I have gloves on or not--I still get blisters. I guess I'll go with mowing. It's great exercise, and it only takes 30 min. to do our yard. :)

Seeing that in my home i do all three do i really have to choose .
Well i suppose i would choose the raking because that is the final job to the gardening once that is done the job is complete you can see what a great job you have done .In my case it`s the only time the yard is really tidy because not long after the kids will be back out kicking balls and leaving all their gear all over the yard .

As long as the mower had a motor and wasn't totally manual, I would choose mowing. I hate weeding of any kind and you can tell that when you look at my garden. Raking would be my choice if the mower was totally manual. I enjoy both of those tasks for a short time.
