I do that all the time. I say if I ever win the lottery and I will say I would do this or that. But I hardly ever play the lottery. I just hate to throw away money I don't have.
I normally only play it when it gets high.

Yes. Not buying a lottery ticket often makes winning a lottery next to impossible, doesn't it?
Still, you do say "almost never," which means you do buy occasionally, which still gives you a one-in-a-gazillion chance of winning.
I'm like you; I hardly ever buy lottery tickets, partly because I earn so little that spending whatever is left over after bills and food are paid for on a lottery ticket seems rather foolish, but also my mom buys several Lotto tickets - even using "my" number - and she doubtlessly will share the winnings if she gets lucky.

I do buy tickets but I never win. I just don't seem to have the luck, but I do keep trying. Buy yourself a ticket, you never know.

We frequently buy lottery tickets here. We have won about $200 in ten years. Can't retire on that. My husband's cousin won $12 million a long time ago. For them, they were able to build a nice house and buy some land in the country. At the time they won the lottery winnings were only dispersed by yearly payments. Now you can take a cash option all at once. I wish we could win, but I guess that is as close as we will ever get. But I keep hoping.

Hello lovelylady. Buying lottery tickets here in my country is quite populare but still, I seldom buy one. I only buy if I feel there's a good number combination in my mind.
It's a general feeling that we all like to win the lottery. I would love to be in the category of those who came out the grand prize winner too, LOL.

I haven't bought a lottery ticket in years, I go tired of giving my hard earned money to someone else - sure they enjoyed their winnings but I never won and stopped buying them.

Yes we buy a lottery ticket every week but hardly ever win anything. Last month we won £10 but can't remember the time we won before that. There was a time where I stopped doing it as never winning, but then 4 of my numberes came in, so started doing it again after that.

I very rarely buy lottery tickets. I mostly just get the scratch-off kind and that's only like once a year or something lol

I spend $10.00 a week on the lottery. It doesnt matter if the jackpot is small or large I still only play the ten dollars worth. And I will go in when my tickets have expired and buy 4 weeks worth of tickets at once (for the four weeks coming up. I do not play the scratch tickets but only the regular nightly games that the lottery has. I know that I am going to loose most of it but if and that is a big IF I were to hit big it would help out a lot. Even though I am a 60 year young man I can still dream of being able to do things that I am not able to do not because of lack of funds.

Im 31 years old, and I've only bought one lottery ticket my whole life. I didn't expext to actually win, It was more of an experiment than anything else. I just wanted to see what people got out of waisting their money. I've always thought that buying lottery tickets just goes against simple logic. I can think of many things I would rather spend my money on. I use to smoke alot of pot, but now instead of buying a dime sack, I just go out and buy me a 2GB flash drive for my laptop. Now I have something to actually show for my $10.

We do buy them but we joke that the only way we'll ever see any money is if he's parents win. Cause older people or rich people are the only ones who seem to win...and they're older. LOL

I've heard buying lottery tickets characterized as a tax on the mathematically challenged. I still buy them occasionally though. The occasional day-dream about winning is worth the price of the ticket.
