heres what i did and it may seem a little harsh but it worked 100%. if he is caught stealing him knowing that he did wrong make him right "i will not steal from my mommy" if hes stealing from a friend make him right a apoligie letter and make him read it to his friend.see where im going if all fails still something from him something he desires and dont give it back. gary wilkins

I actually have done the same thing! My oldest stole from his friends and a teacher and I made him write letters to all of them apologizing and give them the letter when he returned the item.

Hello rahallahan
When I was 4 years old, I stolen candy from my mom, just one. My mom got angry with me, but she doing nothing just let me go to my room and pray. She want me to pray about 1 hour and let me thing about what I am doing. And since that moment I will never steal again or lie with my mom or anybody.
Maybe just let them thing about their doing, and let them know that they are wrong and make them pray are the best way, punishment can make people changes but they can changes from their heart.
God bless you

I only had one child steal and that was a pack of gum from the store. She was probably about 6 or 7 and we caught her with it when we got to the car to put the groceries away, and she had already taken a piece out chewing it. So my husband took her back in and went to the office and had her tell them what she did and said she was sorry. My husband paid for the gum, but when we got home, we took the money out of her bank for the price of the gum.
She was the oldest, so maybe that is why my others didn't follow in her footsteps. lol
