rahallahan I actually have done the same thing! My oldest stole from his friends and a teacher and I made him write letters to all of them apologizing and give them the letter when he returned the item.

rahallahan it depends on how the child gets hurt. Some hurts are unavoidable even when the parent is 2 inches away. But some are clearly the parents fault. its a case by case thing.
