What are your views on White Pride?

I was watching a program on British TV last night called 'Prussian Blue' (about 2 teenage girls who sing white pride songs) and was wondering what your views on this were?
Now myself, I didn't choose to be born white and have never considered myself 'proud' to be white. I just can't see how it can be compared to say, taking pride in a football club you support (by choice). I will admit that I love being Irish but that's cos my country has had a lot of bad things to deal with, I love the country itself and the lifestyle. the people etc. But again, I didn't CHOOSE to be Irish either.
I'd be really interested to hear what others think.

I think it is fine to be proud but it should be because of your accomplishments in life not because you happen to be a certain colour. I think people are all born equal and it is everything after birth that you do that should lead to pride.

There are people who can achieve very little, so they look for ANYTHING they can be proud of... sometimes its a futile search, so they just latch on to the most visible and call it good!
I myself am varying shades of pink and peach, with freckles and age spots... I'm not sure where I'd fit!!

I am not really sure about that but something about race pride that people take seriously. I am not like that at all and I don't take pride in my color of skin.

i'm afro american. i think its ok for ANYONE to have pride in their background, but you cross the line when you have so much pride that you feel you're superior.
be proud of the positives your ancestors accomplished. those twins are horrible. they take freedom of speech too far. their hypnotized by a racist mother. their name "prussian blue" is the color of the gas used to kill jewish ppl during the holocaust. it is disgusting and sad.
*some ppl say "white pride" is racist. for the record that stereotype wasn't created by african americans. "white pride" got its stigma from the kkk's frequent use. the term "white pride" was created way before "black pride" or "viva la raza" or "asian invasian"...since slavery days its been around :(
