Is this place getting slower?

I hadn't noticed but I am usually doing about 10 things at once. Since I'm feeling better I am just going , going, going! It feels great to be alive... xoxoxoxooxoxoxoxo

Hi Margie,I am not on mylot that much either, but I too have that same problem, I thout it was my computor also, but I can get on other sites and do not have this problem, so it has got to have something to do with mylot, either they need a new server, or there are too many people useing the site at one time. It is very disterbing, and makes you not want to post many discussions or respond o discussions, as it takes way to long to do anything here..

I don't know that it's slower..but I think the posting rate has gone down..or is distributed differently.

I was just wandering that too. And I had to bring my computer down and back up. I think its mylot. It has to be. They are always having this stupid problem. Personally I think they need a new server. Yea right like that will happen!

Once in awhile I will have trouble posting but basically I do okay with the posts.

Well, since I have dial up these days, slow is always an issue. I don't know if it's just myLot but it does seem to take a lot of time.

I think sometimes, it is mylot that gets to be slow like that. I used to get them alot but not so much lately.

It may be your computer, dear. I did some virus scans and stuff awhile back and it really helped me out. One of my friends here had made the comment when I complained about something that perhaps I had something running in the background I did not know about.

I have same problem but not all the day.Few times when I post took long time until the page load even if I have a fast internet connection I close many running programs too see if there is any diffirent..Sometimes I have other programs running too and I find the page load fast.Maybe deepens how much people are active then or......who knows.

Im not really sure, everything for me is quite fast because I have just got broadband from dial up...S I am still adjusting from that..

It's not you. It's really slow here for the past few days. As it seems that I get very few email (notify) and no one seems to be posting much these days. I don't know where everybody is but it is very, very slow here.
