Ok, so I understand that almost everyone here is interested in finding new ways to make a little extra money. But, is anyone else getting annoyed that most of the board is full of Join this and join that, join under me....let me sponsor you....yadda yadda yah.....Its really annoying to me, simply because I can't find any quality discussions lately!!!! Anyone else agree with me??

Hey, I have this great site for you to check out, it is at www. justkidding .com
Really though, I sometimes don't mind because I must admit, I have joined a few of them.
But when they take up the whole page, it is quite unnerving.
I have to admit though, sometimes I'll run accross a really good site and want to share it with my fellow mylotter's, but it is very rare.

I've noticed this, too, and I just joined. It's a trend that'll never go away. People are selfish, and I guess this just goes to prove that. But what can you do other than create different discussions that actually matter to people. *Shrug*

It does get repetitive, particularly when it is all about one site, say agloco for example. There might be forty different discussions on it, saying join me join me- each with their respective referral link attached of course.
Another thing that annoys me, is when one member posts say ten odd discussions each phrased differently, but at the same time giving the exact same message/ information and promoting this or that program.
Something I thought would be good, and maybe some people will agree with me would be for myLot admin to create an unpaid section in which there is only one discussion that everyone could contribute to and discuss their "paying" programs.
Another idea would be to condense all similar hot topics ie; topics like religion, abortion, etc into one topic... because although new and old members alike may want to discuss these issues I am so sick and tired of seeing the same old questions in a new discussion each and every day (granted most of the time it is phrased differently - but at the end of the day it is still same old same old)...
Just my opinion. I think the community is growing excessively large and perhaps some measures need to be put in place to cater for such alarge number of individuals and HUGE amount of discussions to be able to enforce guidelines such as do not post repeat topics because hardly anyone appears to do a search before starting a new discussion.

I agree and I am not trying to be rude or mean, but I enjoy mylot and when I see that I have a message from someone I want it to be something nice or maybe someone has a question or answer for me that they would rather say in private you know what I mean.
I get tired of people trying to get me to join this and that so not to be mean Please don't ask me to join anything I'm staying right here with my mylot friends lol

Sometimes it's annoying, in which case I ignore it, other times the links look interesting and I will investigate. If something annoys me I will ignore it and move on instead of staying long enough to become annoyed with the situation.

Yes, I am totally with you on this...Its very frustrating to say the least..Considering posting links to discussions and responses is aginst the guidelines and all these are still here I totally do not understand...I think that most people are only here for the money, not that you can retire on it...lol. And not here for the discussions of meaningfulness.

I have been annoyed by the same thing for months. It is becoming a bigger and bigger problem and little is being down about it. I am just hanging out and posting a little each day...until the site folds. I do believe that the site won't be sustainable if cheaters like you describe are allowed to continue.

It bugs me a little but not too bad, I just try to ignore these kinds of posts.

Yup I have friends on my list who post them quite a lot. I delete the discussion when I read it in my email folder. I don't have time to sign up as I'm here most of the time or doing other things online. I have turned a few notifier buttons off because of this very reason. It gets too much for me sometimes.

I hate it when these so called friends send me apm with a program and their referral link... AUGH! Drives me nuts!
I usually find "friends" that constantly start these types of discussions, or send me these kinds of pms, quickly get removed from my friends list.
I am all for using myLot as a resource, and using it to help with other programs, but if I were interested in hearing about or joing other programs I would ask for someone to reccommend some programs to me...
and for that matter, I would be more likely to pm a friend that I know a little and ask them rather than just some random person :)

Well I haven't had much time here lately but I've noticed the same thing in just the little bit of time I have to jump on here. I generally just stay out of the "making money" interests just because all it is is spam. While I'm all about making money online I get sick of seeing the same links over and over again and being told they are the best sites out there. I mean hello...it's just pennies people!

Though I have only been here a month I also got to say that it has been hard finding quality posts to respond to. There are either these sign up sign up sign up under me junk posts or there are people posting five million discussions that THEY really don't care about but just trying to up their money. Yesturday there was this one person who was making so many discussions that were misspelled and she didn't respond to the people posting on them. She must have made over a hundred discussions, all really short and dumb if you could make out what it was she was asking.... It was hard for me to find the posts from good people who really wanted to have a discussion. So I totally agree with you! Vicki
