Why do so many people fall for the same tricks on here?

I post on just about everything I see. I try to make quality posts... but some things need a little humor too. If it is a serious subject. I take the time to post the best infomation that I can. Some posts are questions and what you think about it.. I post the answers and what I think.. or my crazy theories. I do feel some people that are posting the same answer like the person who has been posting on every thread that they don't want to respond.. is getting a little rediculous

Some people are ethical like we are trying to post quality discussions and responses. Others will do anything for the money. I guess it's up to us which one we want to be.

I understand what you are saying. These statements causes huge responses to their post.

some people are actually making money on here. i am up to $29 and I had $14 deposited into my paypal account. some people lie but just ignore them. not everyones perfect

I don't really believe they do it either. But I would rather see that kind of a question than some of the others I have seen on here.

Don't know honestly maybe they are just giving the people the benifit of doubt because no one actually knows what all we have to do to earn or how much we actually earn for everything we do.

Sometimes life is not fair, we can't change that, best of luck in the future.

I don't understand your question. Do you want mechanism for controlling the posting by members or something else.

It's not like the people who are posting silly discussions are earning big, they are probably recieving negative ratings which would affect their earnings, right?

People don't like to use their minds on here. They just want the money. Nothinn is wrong with that but come up with something that we can all contribute meaningfully and earn together instead of these empty discussions about mylot earnings. I'm glad I saw this post because I was beginning to feel the same way. There's another one that pisses me off. all the discussions about " who wants best response just respond to this post". Use your brains.

Some people are here just for the money and the quality of their posts reflects that. Others are here to share discussions about interesting topics. The money is a (very) small bonus. Use the rating system when you see obvious junk posts.

I don't know why people think that this site is just about money. It's a great community with a lot of great people. There are so many interesting discussions that I ignore the ones that don't make sense and move on to the ones that interest me. I guess each to their own but I agree with you...quality posts will keep me here - not some of the garbage and the constant copy and pastes I see in many posts.

I only earned $2.45 yesterday. Here is proof: http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/120166.aspx I try to make my post's quality posts. There is no way to make an income or even large amounts of money on Mylot. This is a great community the getting paid part is just a great incentive.

I don't get it either, but I kind of think that many of the younger people on here just don't have the experience to discuss many topics so they just post some stupid response. Of course, there are some young people on here who are very articulate and can express themselves very well. What I hate are the ones who copy someone else's response and use it as their own. I report every single one I come across and also give them a "-" and make a comment to them about what they did. Many of the offenders have a much higher rating than I do, but I feel they're earning it illegally. At least we can now try to put a stop to this behavior.

Maybe they have alot of referrals?

Well, I have made eight dollars in three days and my rating is only about 200, if you don't beleive me feel free to let me know and if you instruct me how I'll copy the page that shows earnings and post it... But I'm not very computer savvy so you may have to tell me how to do it. The payment rate is variable and dependent upon a number of factors, your rating isnt one of them. It depends upon the length and quality of the post, the responses it generates. The payment rate also varies according to the number of members and the revenue mylot has generated in that 24 hours. It is based also upon your activity level and your interaction. Thats how some people (some of them are obviously lying merely to genrate responses) but some are genuine and have earnt the money by these various factors... :D

what about if they have refferd people ,,that doesnt affect their rating but will their pay right?

I am new, so I hope that if I post things that are not acceptable some will let me know.
