How much do you (or don't you) love clothes?

I've recently created a discussion about shoes, and I got responses varying from people saying they only have 1 pair to people saying shoes are their lives and that they have 200 pairs or more.
Now, I'd like to know how you feel about clothes. Unlike shoes, I believe a lot of guys enjoy buying clothes as much as we women do. My boyfriend, for example, buys at least one shirt a week. Along with shoes, clothes are one of the things I love the most in my life.
My wardrobe has all types of clothes you can imagine. From black and classic dresses to audacious and colorful shirts. Some of my clothes are from famous brands, but most aren't.
How does it work for you? Do you love buying clothes? Do you have any idea about how many shirts/pants/dresses do you have? Or you simply buy a few things only because you can't go out naked?
Thank you all! :)

I only have 2 pairs of shoes. I have lost 156 lbs. and do enjoy buying clothes more now than before. I just buy a few things to get me through because I am still losing weight. We don't buy all the time, only when we are in need of something. I do own a skirt which I have worn. I am learning to dress nice again.

I tried for years to get it off and finally had the gastric bypass done. I am so glad I did. I didn't have any problems with the surgery, and I am so much happier now. It will be 2 years on the 25th of July. People I haven't seen since I had it done, don't recognize me unless I talk to them first.

Right now I LOVE my clothes and intend to stay in love with them for a long time. The reason being after recovering from an accident and getting back home after a 4 month nursing home stay I had lost 59lbs in weight. Everything was smaller, even my feet, so I spent a few thousand dollars buying everything new and I mean everything.

I love clothes but It does'nt mean I like to buy many clothes that I saw in the department store.
Usually I buy clothes when I needed most specially in my job that I must be always presentable.

I have only some clothes now, starting over as you know. They clothing that I keep the longest in the closet are the ones that I feel are like ME. Express who I am and make me look the best that I can. Right now in transition and not alot like before when I would bring out the winter clothes and swap them for the summer ones that I had been wearing. Now my season overlap until I can get to the church rummage sales and get a good selection of Willowlady like clothing. Socks that match the pants and shirts/blouses that accent the pants. Pants that require a plain shirt to look right and so forth. Wish me luck.

I love buying clothes that I have different colors and styles to meet different events or needs. I will always make sure my clothes clean and being ironed so that they are always available to be worn or matched. I will also like to check my wardrobe in a regularly basis so that I can remember roughly how many clothes I have and what I need next. LOL

i love buying clothes but only if i have spare money. though it is not my priority, i only buy clothes which are of quality even if it is expensive. at least i can use them for a longer period of time. it is an advantage for a guy because you fashion lasts longer than women, right?

I enjoy looking at clothes, I don't get to buy as much as I might like due to lack of funds. I tend to like goth clothing and other unusual things. I've even considered getting into clothing design. I do wish that there was more variety of clothing available to people who are large like me.

though clothes are not a priority in my list, there were times than even it is not in my budget but i really like and it's expensive, i go for it! i am an impulsive buyer when it comes to clothes. i just make it a point that i have the basics. i don't go usually for those branded clothes. most of the time, o go for re-used clothes!

I love clothes and I love buying clothes, but sometimes I wish I did not have to wear or buy clothes because it can be a hassle to buy new clothes and take care of the clothes that I have.

I like shopping for clothes but it's not a major deal to me like alot of women I know...who would rather spend their life in shopping malls..lol..
I love buying myself clothes of course. I have no clue of how many outfits I have or anything...but I'm not one who tries to have a different outfit for each day of the year either..like some who would die if they had to wear the same thing...
Not that everyone else is like that..but I know quite a few around here.

I love clothes. I have no idea how many pieces of clothing I have. Many are boxed up. I have boxes of clothes that are too big and alas a box that is too small. I also love clothe shopping.
As for men, yes they love clothes. Hubby collects tee shirts. He has way too many.
Do I have a little black dress? Of course, I have one and only one. It fits perfect

Oh my - I don't even want to think about how many clothes I have - and how much they cost!!! If I told you one of our spare bedrooms is actually a "dressing room" for me to fit in all my clothes - I think you would get the picture!! When I was younger, I was a dreadful "shopaholic". I would go out every weekend and most lunchtimes, and buy something I didn't really want just because it was pretty! Living in London, I had everything on my doorstep, and thr facty that I did some modelling in College days, meant I got a lot of free/discount stuff too. I'd buy everything from underwear in Marks and Spencers, to everyday clothes in "Top Shop", to vintage stuff in Carnaby Street or Portobello Road. Now I'm older, I admit I go shoppng less often, but I spend I hell of a lot more money, because I like my designer stuff, and I buy good quality from good labels. Mind you - like most women I still lament that I have "bothing to wear" when it comes to going out for a special occasion though!

I must say I do love clothes, as compared to buying shoes clothes are somewhat cheaper, not unless we are talking about big name brands. My parents and aunts would have to agree that I love clothes, because that is what I always end up buying when we go out. They tell me that it seems like I can't get enough of them. Well, it is one of my simple joys, I like to have unworn clothes on standby just in case I get the sudden need for clothes to fit a certain occasion. I don't like the feeling of not having clothes for certain events ready then I have to panic on buying one when the need arises.

I do love my clothes and have many nice outfits. However, I do dress alot more casually now than I used to. I used to be a total clotheshorse. I also love shoes - but I will never buy *just* expensive clothes. Because I already have so much gear in my wardrobe, I usually just buy nice items that are on sale once in a while to supplement my wardrobe.
