A tribute to Weemam

In our lives people pass through.
Some walk by while others stay awile. Others pass in cyberspace while some cyberspacers become dear friends.
I want to say and do the things daily. I want to remember to pay tribute when I should and not put off until tomorrow because tomorrow never comes. Yesterday and today are reality but tomorrow is a vague thought that flits through our minds.I want to chose someone to pay tribute to everyday.
I have one lady I want to pay tribute to today.She is a myLot friend that I call my sis.
She has become an inspiration to me and I'm sure to some others out there.
Here is a lady that takes care of so many family members that wouldn't know what to do without her. But the very special nature of this great lady shone brightly when she had a health scare. Her first concern was about how this might affect the people that depend on her.
When we are ill most of us become afraid for ourself but her commitment is so great to others that how SHE might suffer didn't seem to come to her lips!
So this is a tribute to Weeman. We call her Wee but she is a giant of a person! She is one of the greatest ones I know.
Come and share your thoughts about our lovely friend. I proclaim this to be Weemam Day.

My dear sis
It has taken me a while to respond to this , My hubby was upstairs lying down and I took the laptop upstairs with tears running down my cheeks , He thought something was wrong. I sat on the bed beside him and tried to read out all the lovely things you had said about me , I have never had anyone write anything like this before , I have said often to mummymo that I can't understand how we can get so attached to people we have never met , I salute you too my very sweet sis as you are a very strong person too , I admire you so much and you can never walk in anyones shadow you are far to good for that . xxxxx

"Ahem" Ladies, may I join in the crying bandwagon, lol! I can't resist after reading weemam's response here. I truly understand what you're saying about this unexplained connection we have with our virtual friends. We may seems like faceless and million miles away, but isn't it wonderful to really have online friends from all over the world. This may look impossible for some members but not to me. I don't know much about Weemam but have read some of her topics here. There is nothing harsh or offensive in her topics, not that I have read. I suppose this means she is a nice person, capable of keeping her pain, anger, sadness and worries to herself no matter how unfair life has treated her. I am sure the time will come when things get better and she will be able to enjoy life more.

I don't know much about Weemam and hope that things are better according to what you have shared. Remember though that all may chime in with their thoughts but actions may not be forth coming. I appreciate what you are trying to do and hope that my positivity can help her cope with any trials that continue to impact her life. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I have known Weemam since early in the years, and have come to love and respect this woman also.
All you say about her is true, plus she has a great outlook on life. She's bright and bubbly, regardless of the obstacles that rear their ugly heads in her life. She adores her family and goes to great lengths to care for them, and give back what they've given to her... full love and attention. She is also a great poet... her words are full of love and inspiration, and quite often pointed at one, particular person in her life whom she admires or sympathises with.
I love you Weemam... pal, or whatever... you're the greatest.
Thank you Raydene, for giving me the opportunity to express my feelings for this lady. You too, deserve some recognition, for your strength in bad times, your loyalty to your friends and family and above all, your ability to accept what life throws at you, despite the pain and anguish, and to give to others, whilst yourself being in need. I love you too... you're one of the greatest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Love and hugs come with Brightest Blessings for both of you beautiful women! xoxox

Darkwing u bring a tear to my eye! Thank you so much for your kind word but compared to our Wee I will walk in her shadow.
I did forget to mention her talent but that's ok because it is something others can bring in. Thanks Honey for joining in our Wee Tribute

First of all, let me and all the other MyLotters who read your tribute to weemam, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for putting into words what so many of us feel about this one very special, selfless lady. Our friendship has grown over the months I've been here, and she has been an inspiration to so many. Her family must be so proud of her. She is one helluva lady! Thanks again. Abbey

Hi Abbey, I'm glad to find a way to repay her kindness to me when I lost my sister and a baby foal the same day and then again when my brother took ill. She and a few others held my head above water when I was drowning. I will forever be thankful for all of the mylot friends that got me through the hard times of the past months.

Hi raydene. You have already expressed your high regards for this special lady, weemam, and I'm 100% agree with you. I maybe good with writing articles but weemam put me to shame with her poetry writings.
She has shown me how big her heart is. The problem with my account before actually turned out to be an advantage to me. I know now who are my real and true virtual friends.
Weemam dear, if you're reading this: Bear in mind that you know where to holler me. I don't think I need to put down my feelings about our friendships. Raydene is better with that. I'm still holding on the possibility that Ross will like the fluffy me, lol!

Gee - I happened to see this discussion while poking around, & it scared the heck out of me. Anyway, I'm glad & relieved that she's still alive & kicking.
I cannot positively remember how we met, but I do remember interacting with her on various discussions. I think it was during those times when a few of us were raising hell on some of these blatant Mylot guideline violators that were just copying & pasting other people's discussions. Either that, or it may have been through gabs.

i also know weemam and had read many of her discussions... i respect her as well for her kindness, courage and determination... on top of that, she is a person who share her life with others who need her... there are very few people like her that exist nowadays... so i want to join you in paying a tribute to her as well even though i don't know her very well... hope we all can learn from her...

What a wonderful tribute to a wonderful person, I too am privelidged to know weemam for years now, she is like a light in a dark tunnel, she is very precious and very dear to me and I think the world of her! You have done her proud and I know she'll have tears in her eyes when she reads it, and it's all true! She has a lot of friends and we all appreciate her and love her to bits!

Shall we call her small but mighty? I do indeed admire her, as I have seen others just give up and turn inward when faced with her challenges. There are several sweet natured people on this site, and that is what keeps me here, more than anything. I love looking into their world, and I appreciate Weemam for counting her blessings instead of cursing her luck. Wish she could rub off on us.

I wish we could have a "favourites" section in our friends file. Some folk here have come to truly mean a lot to me. Wee has inspired me in a number of ways. Her dedication and love for all her family is beautiful. I've never heard an unkind word in any way from her. This lady is funny and happy and her poems are wonderful. Her ability to give and give of herself have shown me what love and kindness to others is all about. Wee has touched my life like a blessing.

Awwwww Sweets you are too kind to me really. I also have some here that I would like to meet and yes Darlin you are one of them.Maybe you and I should take a trip to Scotland to see our Wee, Mo, and then go to England and see....and.....then go....

That is a beautiful tribute to an amazingly strong woman, raydene. In the short time that I've been here on MyLot I've come to respect Weemam for her goodness and strength. You have only to read her poetry, her discussions, to know that she is a woman who is possessed of a pure heart. Enjoy your day, Weemam.

I too know weeman from mylot, and you are very right,she is a wonderful woman, a great caregiver and never thinks of herself!!I want to join you in paying Tribute to weeman.She is also a great poet, I love reading her poetry.She does keep her suffering to herself.Nobody can say enough good things about weeman.the world is a much better place becase of her. May God continue to bless & Keep Her.

Thanks Sunkissed for joining in. I know that this discussion will be very busy today . She has many that love her a ton! For her and my other friends I will forever be thankful to myLot. Even when I get bad at this site I will always be thankful also.
