It has been pissing down with rain all month..

I think it would have to be a desserted island with lush green trees to cool down under and a lovely beach with a cool clear sea. The kids would love it and I could relax away from the reality of life. At least it is sunny today, ideal for a trip to the beach, pity I can't afford the petrol!

If I had the money I would for sure be down there with you, helping you guys out. It is toooo terrible for words. I have not seen such devastation since the Katrina floods. My heart and prayers are with you guys, and I will bring some exotic food with me don't worry!

Either I would go to see my daughter and granddaughter, and terrific son in law in Minnesota, because they are there. Other than that, I would like to go to several places in the Ozarks, like Branson, and Lake of the Ozarks, and Cave Man Barbecue, and to see my friend bwattybaby. Or of course we could go to New Hampshire to see my hubby's favorite sister.

hi yanji, i am not better off either. here, in my place its raining like never before, hoping to buy a ferry. what do you think? i just want to get out of it aswell, may be to a sunny shores, may be to the southern most part of India where there is a lone rock and water, water and water everywhere. it's beautiful!!

Tell me about it, I've had to tumble dry all the clothes and I hate tumble drying them, I also saw those poor people in Gloucestershire and Oxford and their homes and the flooding it is terrible, it is definitely global warming, we've had 250% more rainfall in July than has been recorded! Do you want to come to Rhodes with me in October? Plenty of room in my suitcase, might be a squeeze but you'd be welcome!

Well all I want is to spend a holiday vacation in France, Italy and Rome.This is my childhood dreams that I would visit and tour these beautiful countries in the world.

I would head to the Bahamas to escape the rain. We have had a terrible summer. I went camping last weekend and it rained the whole time. I am ready to escape the rain and go to the Bahamas, now all I need is money!

I know how you feel. It really feels too gloomy if it rains all the time. A little rain won't hurt but alot all the time is just depressing. Same with those people who have had all sun all year, it's quite a drag too. Having to keep cool all the time. Anything extreme is really unwelcomed. Hope you'll have a better weather soon. I tried to answer this earlier but I lost my internet connection just as I hit post response. Maybe its a good thing as I was in a really bad mood and wanted to be anywhere but where I am.lol. I feel better now so I will say that if I had the money I would like to go to either somewhere in the United Kingdom or maybe Hawaaii.

oh,sorry to hear that. a month ago,we had rain every day and flood too.but now it is better but hotter. if i have both time and money,i will go to Hong Kong,i have never been there before,that's the reason why i want to go there.

In the country where I live, it's too hot nearly above 40 degree during daytime. We cannot go out and we crave for some rain. It's so bad that you guys are longing for sun and heat and you don't get it. Lot of people lost their lives too in the rain. Feel so bad. The nature is so imbalanced.
