Do you ever just cry and you don't have any idea why you are crying? It doesn't happen to me a lot but it has happened enough that I know to just allow myself a good cry and I will feel better afterwards. Does this happen to you or anyone you know?
Probably premenstral related..... who knows!

It has been my discussion too few days ago. Yes, I also have same thing too. I do cry sometimes without reasons. The tears just come down like that and I cant even know why. I will feel sad when I cry and will be better after that.

It happens to me to. It does feel good after a good cry though. Sometimes I just get depressed for no reason for a couple of days and then I just snap out of it. I always blame it on PMS but I think sometimes I am just sad. It is good to know I am not the only one.

Hmmm... honestly I also feel that way sometimes too... I feel sadness lie somewhere in my heart... I dont know exactly what it is but it feels like pain is very deep... I just cry and then realixe lots of things like those things that I am still hoping that does not happen, or the things that I regret for not doing, my kids.... I guess those pain is pain wrap into 1 of everything.

Sure I have had this happen to me before. Im sure a lot of people have (most men wont admit it). But I think its a great way to cope with things at that moment. And who knows maybe it is a premenstrual thing like you said.

i always know why i am crying. when i am hurt, when i am in pain, when i am so happy and even for crazy reasons like when i am watching a very romantic film or a very touchy clip on television. i cry a lot and i don't deny the fact. i am a cry baby and my boyfriend knows that. but what i know of, no matter how shallow my reasons for crying, i do have ideas why i am crying at that very moment.

nothing wrong with being a crybaby. You are probably healthier than most of us because of it.

It happens to me on occasion. I think that we just get so overwhelmed with life that there is just no other way to vent and relieve stress so you can get up and start fresh again. Sometimes I have so much going on I just don't know which way to turn or what to do first, or next. That's when I find I get overwhelmed and cry.

This happens to me once a month when I get the dreaded PMS. Anything will set me off, it could be a song, a movie or just a sad thought.

I rarely ever cry. Maybe twice in three years have I cried. I knew exactly why I was crying too. I have felt sad over watching a sad movie or read a beautiful story but I don't really cry. I have felt like it though and then I get my period. HEHE Vicki

I do not know what you are taliking about because the only reason I ever cry is when something is really sad or yeah that is it, i would never cry for any other reason.

It always bothers me that whenever a woman has an emotion, it gets blamed on the uterus. How come men cry sometimes too? And they have a lot more training not to.
If you're crying without knowing why, I'd say there's a problem in your life you're not acknowledging, maybe because of what it would mean if you admitted to yourself that whatever it is is making you unhappy. For example, unhappiness with a husband/boyfriend might get repressed because you're afraid of leaving him or can't leave him. Same thing with a job. Maybe your life feels out of control and you don't know what to do about it.
The fact that you try to pass off your emotions as a simple hormone thing leads me to believe that you have trouble accepting your own feelings, or rather, that your feelings have gravity, and aren't always happy. I think that to have any chance to right this wrong, however, you must first examine your own feelings and motivations, without judging yourself for them. Think about why you do things. If certain situations seem to be reoccurring, think about how you got into them, think about what your thought process was at the time.
It's okay to cry, it's even good for you to let it out, but all things have a source. If it were my sadness, I'd prefer to know where it was coming from.

Very good response, Schmaiffe. I know exactly what you are saying and there is a great deal of value to it.
I am often guilty of suppressing feelings and emotions because it is just too inconvient to experience them at the moment. So later it will explode out in someway. I am aware of this about my character and try to control it as best I can.
Probably premenstral.... who knows? was added at the end of the discussion more as a lite bit of humor than anything else and was not intended to be taken so seriously.
Thank you for the response.

Hi makingpots I do the same thing. So its not just you. I think all women do this. We are very sensitive anyway. And then the we have to put up with premenstral and thats a big part of it too. I hope your feeling better today. Hugs to you

Oh YES—Especially when my hormones are in high gear- I sat on the floor at work last week- and cried behind the copier- There was a paper jam- and I felt like the world was crumbling- Hormones- I went into the bathroom and cried- Been there- done that! Darn- premenstrual symptoms! Got to hate them! Sometimes I don’t feel better after either- it’s like the littlest things set me off during the high hormone level days!

Lol those darn paper jams can be rough.
I can so relate. At one of my high stress jobs I used to have a stall in the ladies room I called my crying stall.

Hello makingpots. I think it's quite normal for us to cry without reason. It may due to stress, fatigue or even reminiscing something from our past. The weather may be doing that to you.
I actually avoided crying. I don't feel good after an episode of crying. It's something that makes my head ache all the more and my eyes are terrible.

I know what you mean, charms. I feel emotionally better after a cry but my eyes usually feel tired and sometimes I will get a headache as well.

I only cry because I miss my ex and I feel really bad because I miss my current boyfriend too. Both of them love me a lot and treat me really nice like a princess. But I', pretty much left alone with my current boyfriend. With my ex, he gives me all the attention one can ever give a person. I really thought of going back to my home but I didn't want to because my current boyfriend is really upset... I didn't know what to do...
