Would You Want to Witness an Execution?

We're going on the assumption that there is no room for error here, jillhill. I do believe that most of the criminals that are convicted are guilty. I think it is the rare case when a person didn't actually commit the crime. But, whether I would choose to be present is immaterial. That wouldn't stop my wanting to see justice served. You only have to think of some of the horrific things one human being can do to another to get my drift.

I am against capital punishment but I can honestly say if anyone hurt one of my cats or dog friends I would enjoy watching. Well any hunter will do too. I would buy tickets to watch anyone who is cruel to animals die. die die die! Oh my where did that come from...

I have no desire to ever watch someone being executed. No matter if they have done the worst thing a person could ever do to me, it is enough for me that they are being punished for their crime I don't need to be there to be a witness to it.

It will be a nightmare for me to watch those execution, its scary even to talk about and never wants to witness one of those. There are some movie scenes and i tried to watch those but it was hard for me to watch even those that are fake so i don't think i' llbe able to watch an execution that is real.

I don't think I could ever witness this. I mean I know for them to get there they would have had to have been convicted of a serious crime. But I would think of the person who was being executed family. It would bother me something terrible.
I would not want to witness this.

It all depends on the method of execution.I would never see a hanging. And lethal injection would be boring.But I would see an execution by firing squad.And I would only see an electric chair execution if I was either the victim or was close to the victim.

I truly believe in capital punishment and I can think of several reasons why I would want to witness an execution. If someone were to hurt my children, I would witness it. I also think that if we were to uphold capital punishment laws, then it would be a much safer country.

Well... Some people really deserve that punishment... But for me to witness such a thing... The person to be executed must have done something really awfull to me for me to be able to do that.

Though I'm constantly thinking my stance on capital punishment, I must admit there are certainly some disgusting people (I've read the police reports and acts) and these people, I wouldn't mind seeing executed. Call me a monster, I don't care. But anyone willing to beat a two girls so horribly they end up swallowing their own teeth, and then strangling them with their own shoelaces deserves man's final decree of justice. Anyone willing to repeatedly rape and kill multiple women and girls deserves our final punishment. I don't care what you believe, I stand by this. You can say I'm an ogre or whatever you want, but some people are beyond redemption and keeping them alive means they have the chance to spread their evil on to others.
I could indeed watch as some of the grossest people in society get put down. Might be more of my darkside talking, but after seeing and reading some capital crimes, this is how I feel.
