If you want a good read, this is the book. It really makes you think of what impact you make with others throughout your life. We encountered people everyday, and never stop to think what they might remember of our encounter. We all meet up eventually, and what will we do if we come face to face with those again. What we will say, what will we do, will they forgive us, will they thank us.
Something to think about

I like this book, though "Tuesdays with Morrie" made more impact on me. Have you read that one?
One passage that struck me in "5 People You Meet in Heaven" is this:
"People say they 'find' love, as if it were an object hidden by a rock. But love takes many forms, and it is never the same for any man or woman. What people find then is a CERTAIN love."
I love the way he describes love. Our own personal kind of love. ;-D

Oh boy! I thought there could be nothing better than "5 People You Meet In Heaven". Now that I hear this, I can't wait to run to the book store to get "Tuesdays with Morrie". You made my day.

I have read this book and this is a nice one. It is very inspiring, heart-warming, touches the heart. It will make you realize that you are an important person. Also makes you realize that everything happens for a reason. I believe in the message implied that life is not merely a series of accidents that everything is connected one way or another.

yeah mitch's book are always so inspirational. like his book, tuesday with morrie and for one more day. it teach me about life. and make me reflect upon my life. life itself is a cycle, everyone we meet at some point of life, we shall meet them again. it all depends on where and when. we could meet them in heaven or we could meet them the very next day, when we go out.
life itself is very amazing and we can never know what would happen next.

I agree totally with the last poster. 'Tuesdays with Morrie' was an exillent, excillent read.
I first read 'Five People you Meet in Heaven' right before I graduated highschool (that was two years ago). I didn't fully process the book then, but I think I'll reread it again. Sometimes, it takes a few times reading something to fully grasp what the author was getting within the text.

Tuesdays with Morrie is a gem. Very insightful and though provoking in its simplicity about life's complexity.
