Do you have a favorite tv commercial or do they annoy you?

Well this is a purely Canadian commercial.... The Royal Bank of Canada "Hands in My Pocket" basically is't got a catchy lil jingle of "hands in my pocket, hands in my pocket....." etc.... and it shows people doing various things followed by a dude or chick in a suit "the Banker" with their hand literally in the persons back pocket lol... My fav. is this one guy is lying in bed, the alarm goes off, he jumps up the banker is sitting in a chair, the guy starts putting his jeans on while the bankers hand is in his back pocket, the jingle starts, the guy puts the pants on ignoring the banker but man it is funny. It's all about how RBC although they are a bank doesn't always have their hands in your pocket but the other guys do. OR!!!! I love the one commercial-don't really know what it is about but there are these exterminator guys and there is a huddling couple (the people look scared) well the exterminator guy pulls a handful of change out of his pocket and throws it on the floor instantly 5 or 6 "bankers" jump football style on the money. The exerminator guy turns to the fearful couple "oh yeah you do have bankers"...

My favorite commercial is the Windex one with the birds. They see a man clean his patio windows with Windex. One of them goes to the front door and rings the doorbell. The man opens his patio door, leaves it open, and goes to answer the door. The birds close the patio door. The man comes back and walks, real hard, into the door. The birds start laughing hysterically and want to do it again, as they never get tired of doing this. It makes me laugh hard every time I see it! PEACE

I posted about this nearly a week ago, no responses oddly enough. I agree television commercials have become very clever over the last couple of years. The Guico caveman commercials get me every time. I think my new favorite is the transformer burger king commercial. The big transformer is standing there and starting to put in his order and the worker who is shocked and calling his buddies over to look tells him that he has to have a vehicle. The transformer than transforms into this huge semi, at this time the worker tells him he also needs a driver. Transformer just respond with "oh, come on" or something a long those lines.. It's really really funny to me. I also like the comcast slowsky commercials, they are so funny.

The Geico "Caveman" commercials make me laugh. I love those Neanderthals.

I like commercials, cause you can see whats available. Even if you dont go out and get it. Some are so funny, but some are really stupid. I love ones that have the cute babies on them. We have an add here for the natural confectionary company, with a little girl and her father. He goes to chop the dinosaur lolly in half, and she in a cute little voice says 'dont chop the dinosaur daddy', then he does, and she has a really shocked look on her face. It is so cute Best wishes

I don't really watch commercials. That is the time that I go to the bathroom or go get me something to drink or play with my doggie. So I use them as a break. They normally don't bother me unless they are playing a bunch of them or when something gets really good and then their is a commercial.

I don't really have a favorite commercial. Whenever commercials come on I usually go do something else lol. I do like commercials with babies in them because babies are so cute! Lol.

my fav commercials are the one put out by apple (i guess) where the two guys come out and say 'i'm a mac; i'm a pc'... the commercials i HATE are the ones that portray stupid men as cats...they are an insult to cats and men!

I don't have a television at university, yet commercials still manage to get into my life! To be honest, most commercials annoy me, but being a photographer I have a lot of respect for the artier commercials where the cinematography is really good. One example I can think of is the Sony Bravia advert where all the different coloured bouncy balls are going down the hill.. I love that advert because it wasn't done with CGI, it was shot live. It is amazing! If you haven't seen it you should go and search for it on Youtube. x

I think the Geico commercials are my favorites, ctry, but I also get a kick out of the Burger King ones. He is so comical with that huge head and little body. Much of the time the commercials are the best entertainment on tv, in my opinion. I think they even give out awards for the best commercials. If they don't, then they should, LOL.

I like that shampoo commercial right now that the girls with the pretty full bodied hair spins around and get whiplash. Made me laugh but for the most part I hate all commercials. Everyone hates when I get the remote cause I am always changing channels during commercials. I don't watch much television, maybe a few hours a week if that and I don't want to spend them watching those stupid things. Most get on my nerves and I complain about them. Everyone here knows I got no tolerance for them. HEHE I hate when a show puts out to many of them. The kids like that Americans got talent show and wanted me to look at it last night but after every performer there would be commercials longer than the show. So boring I ended up flicking channels. LOL Vicki

During my favorite TV shows I hate intervention of commercial. But, some of them are my favorite. I like them because of great amount creativity in it.

Generally I dislike all T.V. commercial as they take away from the content of the shows I like to watch on the Discovery Channel or the History Channel, but I'd have to say that my favorite are the Geico ones or the one Mitsubishi one where the guy is playing Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple, on the Rev things.

hey. i also think that there are many cool commercials on telly 2day. but, there are some that i get REALLY annoyed with. take for instance the sobeys commercial where this guy and girl have to have a gps on there cart to find their way around the store. then the guy goes, "gps babe," and i pretty much scream because they overshow the stupid thing! anyway, yah, commercials are a great deal of entertainment.

Well I have to say I love commercials. I like the geico cave man, and beef jerky sasquatch commercials. I also like the commercial where one person sees another person helping some one and they do it next and it just a chain reaction of people helping people.(confusing?) One more favorite commercial is the tide commercial of the African-American boy and Caucasian boy jumping up and down in the mud having a good ole time. It always make me smile.

You said people were not genuine in one of your other discussions and now you are talking about a tv commercial? Also, do you think you should talk about something that a wider people can enjoy rather than a tv commercial problem only the people in your country would have seen it. I do not know what country you are from, USA I suppose. But we brits do not know what you are talking about.
