Women's Health Warning: Grapefruit Juice raises risk of Breast Cancer by 30%

Breast cancer makes up 16.3 percent of all cancer cases and accounts for 7.8 percent of all deaths due to cancer. Breast cancer death rates have continued to decline due to improvements in early detection and treatment. However, breast cancer incidence rates have increased by more than 40 percent from 1973 to 1998.
In 2004 there were 36,939 new registrations of breast cancer in women in England, and 272 in men.
One in 9 women will develop breast cancer at some time in their life. The estimated risk of developing it for each of the other age groups has been calculated as:Up to age 25, 1 in 15,000
Up to age 30, 1 in 1,900
Up to age 40, 1 in 200
Up to age 50, 1 in 50
Up to age 60, 1 in 23
Up to age 70, 1 in 15
Up to age 80, 1 in 11
Up to age 85, 1 in 10
