Who cares about Lindsey Lohan!?

Why do we have to be told about what pathetic low lifes like Lindsey Lohan and Paris Hilton are up to all the time?? It's so unavoidable.
These last couple days I've been too busy to watch much news or pick up a newspaper, but just from little bits I have seen almost every time I've heard about Lindsey bloody Lohan being arreseted or whatever. That's not news! Why is that treated as more shocking and developing news than all the politics and natural desasters that are going on.
And also, I know they're old enough to make their own decissions. But arn't their parents embarassed to see this? A lot of people are wild when they are young but they are not like normal young adults, they can't just do what they want. There's been a lot of things I've done that I wouldn't want my parents to know about. I know that I can get away with it, but if it was being posted in newspapers everyday I'd be ashamed for my parents to have to hear about it. What does Mr Hilton think of his sl*ty daughter and her internationally best selling home video I wonder?

Yea I'm getting tired of hearing about these 2 spoiled, rich brats. Celebrities are way too overrated. I honestly don't care to hear about what happens in their lives but apparently some people do. That's why it sells. I don't get it though. I have my own life to live.

I am tired of hearing about celebrities too!! That is was E! is for, not CNN. In another post, someone actually complained that harry potter's release got more press coverage than Paris Hilton, and that was ridiculous.
No, what's ridiculous is we think it's unfair that a book selling millions of copies to CHILDREN WHO ACTUALLY WANT TO READ NOW is making the news rather than a pathetic excuse for a celebrity. I'm not quite sure why flashing your private parts makes news. Trashy celebritites have been doing that for years. Since when is is new?

I don't care about Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, or any of the rest of them. I think these "people" take up way too much time on the news, and don't leave room for more important things like world issues. They need to go back to the pages of the National Enquiror where they belong!!!!

Call me ignorant, but I am surprised that Lindsey Lohan makes top news in England. So this isn't just an American fascination.
I have been ignoring news lately too because I get so frustrated over what is considered news. My 11 year old told me about Lohan, and my daughter was honestly upset. She thought of her as a role model up until the last year or so. I'm surprised the Disney Channel is still playing all the movies Lohan made for them when she was a kid. Thankfully, I've raised my kid well enough that even she thinks this behavior is wrong, and Lohan is no longer on the list of people my kid looks up too.
I wasn't the best child either. There's things I would never want brought up for fear on how my dad would look at me. Crazy part is that there are plenty of people everyday who have these problems, but since they aren't celebrities nobody notices.

I hear you on this 4ft. I could not care any less about these socalled news. I totally agree there must be more important or interesting things happening somehwere.
What does Mr Hilton think of his sulty daughter, i can not even start to guess, as he lives in a completely different world to mine. And to be honest i could not care less about it either. From what i have seen or heard of them 2 girls, they havn' exactly done any serious crime, so whats the big deal. They do only what other young people with plenty of money is doing. Leave the poor girls alone.

I too do not care about Lindsey Lohan, though I do hope that she will go through rehab and come out alright. It does get tiring to hear about her, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears and other celebrities who do stupid things and act dumb. They are all very immature, selfish, greedy and mental cases. I think it is bad for someone to become famous too early in life.

The media in America is so low in culture that it's main concern is whether britney spears shaves her privates or if lohan with ever stop parting. It's pathetic and sickening. Especially when there is a war going on in another country where american soldiers are pointlessly dying and iraqi civilians are being brutally murdered by private corporations for no apparent reason. we need to re-analyze where our priorities are

We cant really blame the people who are junk addicts. There has always been gossip pappers but now its turned the real news into nothign but gossip too. I know it sells but come on doesnt the news media have a responsibility to report what really matters? Or is it in their best interest to ignore what matters and just report garbage and lies? 30 years ago you surely would have never seen any respectable news man get up to talk about what want-to-be celebrity got arrested this time.

I won't let my children watch any newer stuff that Lindsay Lohan has done. The stuff, I will let them watch is Parent Trap and the stuff she did for the Disney Channel. I WILL NOT ALLOW my children to be exposed to that junk. I want my children to be productive citizens and I want them to have positive role models like Hilary Duff, Miley Stewart and such.
As far as now, I think that her career has tanked and she needs to go back to the trailer park that she crawled out of. No one cares anymore so let her go along with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Those are the three biggest losers that we see on TV. I hope the judge throws the book at Lohan

Poor Mr Hilton haha. No matter what he thinks, i am sure that he don't like it. But come on, we all know the high fliers life is lived on one big lie and use of all sorts of stimulances to cope with the pressure, so it cannot really surprise him that this happens to his daughter too.
I like you is fed up hearing about all this crap and so bloody often. As you say wtf cares. Unfortunately i just have to accept this as a nusance that follows if you want to keep up with what is happening arround you. So ....
