I have a 3 year old white and orange tabby. He prefers to sleep on my hip. When I go to bed at night, I tell him, "Its time to go to bed, Moishe" and he follows me to bed. If I sit on my bed too long he will stand on his hind legs and try to push me down so that I am laying on my side. He does this so that he can sleep in his favorite spot, my hip.

My cats prowl at night. I let them spend time outside in the summer. I have one that will sleep on a branch of the apple tree all day, and one who will sleep on the porch and one who will sleep on the roof of any vehicle parked at our place. They like my lap in the afternoon, especially in the winter, and one will sleep in the shower, if she is inside. Two of them like to sit in the porch swing with my husband and I when we swing. I am amazed at that.

Well, I have one that curls up on my clothes and makes so much noise that I have thought at times that someone in the next apartment was playing music (annoying music). Actually, my babies sleep all over the place. Sometimes they sleep under my lamp next to the computer, I always have at least three or four that sleep with me in different spots on the bed. Marshmallow loves to sleep right next to my head and he loves for me to rest my arm on top of him and pet him until I fall asleep. Cinnamon often curls up next to me and dreams and snores. She is so cute! When I have my prayer time in the morning, I usually have four or more sleeping around me. Princess is especially funny when she stretches out on her back next to the refrigerator with her legs sticking straight out and her front paws up in the air. Sometimes, some of them sleep sitting up. I haven't yet figured out how they don't fall over like that.
Oh well, enough cat stories for the night. I need to get some sleep.

Our black lab gets into crazy positions and moves alot in his sleep. today he was asleep on his back with his hind feet propped up on the dresser. The old golden gal sleeps so quiet these days that I often check to see if she is still breathing( she's 15) the young golden girl sleeps on her stomach with her back legs out on both sides..looks like a frog. Yellow cat sleeps mostly on me, grey tiger gal cat sleeps between hubby and me, and white old lady cat sleeps on my side of the bed as close beside me as she can get. I won'y go into the horses sleep habits..lol

My cat sleeps on her back sometimes all sprawled out or just curled up. She likes to sleep on the bed, or if I am on the computor she will sleep on the chair next to me.She likes to be in which ever room I am in.She will not be to far away from me.

Our cat loves to sleep on our computer chairs too. She basically will sleep anywhere she wants in the house.

My Ozzie cat is odd. He will sleep on the floor and end up curled up or even on his back. He might take a night to sleep on the foot of the bed or up on my sholder.
He often sleeps in a box.
We at times have to look for him. He was in a dresser that had the drawer out one time. . We waited until he awoke. At times he will sleep in a window on the sill. That cannot be comfortable but he does it.

I have three cats, two of which are supposed to belong to our daughter. They sleep anywhere, everywhere and anytime they want. Buddy, the young male likes the floor next to a wall somewhere and is often stretched out on his back. Sissy, the only female, likes the high places best. She also sleeps with me on the bed often. Sam, "the king", sleeps mostly in my husband's lap, his bed table or on his bed. Once in awhile he will sleep on the window sill in another room. That is getting rarer, though. He is not often away from my husband. It's like he knows time is limited there.

LOL--and I just bet your cat that snores keeps you awake sometimes....did you know that pets can sometimes snore louder than people?
At night when I'm ready for bed I have competition on my bed...my Pyewacket likes to sleep snuggled up right next to me and heaven forbid I move, while Kissy likes to sleep at the foot of my bed...so can't move me feet either...gee...do you think that's why I sleep like a pretzel and wake up with a stiff body? LOL
