I am overwhelmed when my boss tells me I did a good job or when he/she tells me "Ang galing".
I am speechless every time my boss tells me things in such a way that they appreciate your work or output or when she simply says, "Thanks Mae".
More overwhelmed when my boss does not say anything until you found out that your work was forwarded to the Courts or quasi-courts and seeing your file copy. Your work is there, your idea was there. Isn't it amazing?
I know it is intellectual property on my part to do such things, whose signature appears to the output is your boss, however, that idea is what you are paid for. You are waiving your right to question it or contest it.
I end up overjoyed with that fact that am doing a great job.

When someone appreciates my work I am thankful. I appreciate their appreciation. I don't have an ego, so I don't need to flaunt my work, or flaunt the fact that others may appreciate my work, just that I am happy when I am appreciated, and that is all.

I get embaressed and blush a lot. I am practicing saying, "thank you" when people compliment me, which they are doing more and more often because of my 'zines.

If I ever get thanks for something I do at work I'm elated. I don't get that sort of stuff often at my work. It's like I know they appreciate me, I just don't hear it often. But I also don't deal with compliments well so I usually just say 'thanks' and move on because I don't want to make a big deal out of it.

It's really nice when people appreciate the things you do, in this case your boss. This would inspire me to work harder and really put my best in doing it. I think this is one good motivational factor in making their subordinates to really came out with their best in doing the task or job assigned to them.

I will be happy if others appreciate my work. Frankly, my boss is a very emotional person, so you can't expect any praises from him. On the contrary, sometimes my colleagues will appreciate my help at work. Especially when I finish their computer problems.
