Grocery shopping? We decided to start going every two weeks and we are saving $200 a month by doing this. What about you? How often do you go and how much do you spend?

I will go on a really huge shopping trip like once a month. Then as needed I will go back for produce, milk and bread. I bet I spend around 800.00 a month on food we are a family of 4. I dont know is that alot? We eat a ton of fresh stuff and that can really add up. But its is really good for you so I think it is well worth it.

I go to grocery store every two to three weeks. I don't cook that much and I only spend the weekend staying at home (other days, I usually get too tired and go to bed straight). Therefore, I don't really need to do much on grocery shopping. I go there once every two to three weeks to get some nice drinks, instant food and daily necessities. I think by going less, I save more money and also, I tend to stock up the good deals and the next time I go there I would stock up other good deals. It's a good way of saving money money too.

I try to go every 2 weeks but I always have to make a stop inbetween tog et all the stuff we go through regularly. I also have found that we spend a littleless money by doing the main grocery shopping every two weeks. I wish we could cut back to monthly.

I go twice a week because I want the fruit I get to be fresh. However, I am single and I am very good about only getting what I went for most of the time. My main shopping day is Sat. and sometimes I will spend up to $10-$15. I stock up on canned goods when they are on sale so at those times I may spend more. I have a large stock of canned salmon so I haven't bought meat in a long time which is how I can keep what I spend down.

I go every week. I think doing it every two weeks like you are doing it or monthly is a good way to save money. When you shop frequently you end up buying impulsive items.

To be honest, I go grocery shopping whenever I have run out of things to eat at home. I would guess I go every few weeks, probably every three weeks or maybe once a month. I spend about $40 to last me for that time. It may seem like very little, but at the moment I'm living alone, so I only have to provide for myself. Besides, I often go out to dinners with friends, so groceries aren't what I'm always eating.

I'm a single person. I go shopping about every 3 weeks on average and spend about $90. I usually go to walmart and stock up on non perishables... every 3 weeks or 4 weeks and spend about $30 or so. Then I go to the grocery store and buy some stuff to freeze and/or good sales. I spend about $40 ish. Plus I go about every 2 weeks for stuff like bread and milk and cheese. spend maybe $20.
