Do your pet and you look alike?

It may be a strange question. But some people believe their pets and them will look alike to each other. My little cat has a little black hair spot nearby her mouth. My dad has a black nevus close to his mouth. So we joke that they look like each other:)

I have heard of this a lot and I believe it. Which I dont really see any resemblence in me and my shih-tzu but I have an aunt who has an apple headed chihuahua and they look exactly alike to me. They both have huge eyes! I believe after awhile you just began to see a resemblence somewhere.
