Does anyone know what animal makes the buzzing sound outside in the summer?

My husband says that it is a huge beetle of some sort, but I have never seen one. Do you know what I am talking about? It happens every summer. It sounds like a loud buzzing sound but you can't really tell what direction it is...

nickspinky I was always told it was the bigger crickets. Im not sure though but may possibly be. I always see them out during the summer I know for sure. They creep me out they are the big ones that are orange and black.

nickspinky I have turned into a morning person since becoming pregnant. Before I was a definite night person I even worked 12 hour night shifts 3 times a week and now I switched to days. I guess my body is changing up on me and telling me to become more normal!

nickspinky I dont mind my fiance being in the bed but whenever I am ready to go to sleep I want my space and that is why we got a king size bed. We dont have to really worry about being in eachothers space since we are pretty much the same about that.

nickspinky Actually I thought this was untrue too. Well now I can never unplug my laptop otherwise it will go dead in about 3 minutes. I have to try to retrain my laptop into getting back into the habit of being off the charger sometimes.

nickspinky My fiance and I have 2 dogs. We have a little dog which is a shih tzu and a big dog which is a lab. They are both big babies though. The lab is more of one. We keep them both as inside dogs except for when they need to go out.

nickspinky I love my ipod. I plug mine into my car so I never have to worry about buying cds or making cds. I find it so much easier since it holds all your songs on one thing and you dont have to switch through cds.
