sid556 some animals are raised with for the purpose of consumption. They are born and bred for that reason only. There should be no reason to hunt elsewhere for meat. It is all a matter of culture and what is acceptable in your culture.

pyewacket I think the reason is because so many people view dogs (and cats) as loving pet animals..so the idea of eating them is repulsive...I don't have anything against fish, chicken or cows, but am more accustomed to eating them...at the same time, I just couldn't...
