There is no superstar in CEW because it is not the top league when it comes to wrestling. Just like the basketball leagues here in the Philippines. If you're a superstar in the PBL then you will get drafted into PBA. If your skill are not good enough for the PBA anymore then you can play in the PBL.

ECW is seen as somewhat of a training ground for up and coming stars like CM Punk and Johnny Nitro (who I think are both more than ready to move up).
The fact is, I think ECW is doomed. Without Paul Heyman and with RVD quitting, Sabu fired, and Sandman on Raw, there isn't really an ECW. It's just a minor league show (no disrespect to the guys on that show).
Chris Benoit was to be the big ECW star but we all know how that ended. :(

Spot on. ECW is supposed to be a training ground for most of the stars. A step up from OVW but definitely not Smackdown and REALLY not Raw.

I tend to agree (again!) Thing is I'd rather watch CM Punk, Johnny Nitro/Morrison and Elijah Burke more than anyone that they've got on Smackdown at the moment, Smackdown has really bad wrestlers as far as I'm concerned, You look at that roster apart from The Undertaker and Rey they are all midcarders at best, Im sorry but Batista can't work, Khali is USELESS, Mark Henry is boring at best, Matt Hardy is OVER RATED, Edge is injured, Flair is over the hill.......I could go on, ok I will the only other shining light they have is probably MVP he has some in ring ability and is decent on the mic, but he's gotta lose that power ranger outfit!

I agree but I also disagree. They have Tommy Dreamer who used to be considered the heart and soul of the WWF. The only reason hes not considered big is because of how long hes been around. Sure some of the biggest stars today have been around for a while like the Hardy Boyz who started in 92 or 93 and HBK and Triple H but you can only have so many before the newer people start taking their place.

Mate you're right WWE is using ECW as training ground for superstars to make it to the raw. Although WWE borught back the ECW but they left its spirit. I mean you rarely see any hardcore thing in ECW. All wreslters except CM PUNK, DREAMER doesn't fit into ECW bracket. I think WWE should bring back soul of ECW else they should not call it Extrme Championship Wrestling.

thats because ecw is for all the rookies to go to look better and to make raw and smackdown look better

Because they don't build up ECW as much as the other shows... and what about Bobby Lashley anyway? He was in ECW before the draft.
It normally happens that way, the more popular superstars from ECW get drafted to Smackdown or raw.
And what about CM Punk? People love him!

Well it did have RCD and Big Show and as they are not there, it is not as big as Smackdown and Raw, but I guess it doenst have as good turn out as Smackdown or Raw and mabye not as many ratings.

ok what is the nice way to put this
ECW sucks so hence there are not good superstars in it's roster, benoit and lashley were the only two decent ones that were in it and of course rvd but none of them are there any more so it's all gone to pot, they might as well just get rid of ecw now as it's a second rate show and thats how vince wanted it so that he can bury it.
