Question for Facebook users???

Hi there, in response to your question, No...once you sign up you choose which friends on your hotmail list you want them to contact which means not everyone will be invited..I had worried about this one myself before joining a while back. You're safe as long as you keep your profile private except to friends on your list :-)

No Facebook does not automatically add all your contacts - you can choose which ones you would like to send a request to and which ones you prefer not to. You can also choose how much of your information you want the public to see. For myself I am very cautious and only show very little personal information about myself (I also have people I would rather not find me on Facebook). If they do find you though you can always just ignore their friendship request and they will still only be able to see your limited profile (which can contain as much or as little information about you as you desire).

I joined facebook to meet my friends from school , but so far after 2 months , people I don't know are the ones messaging me and requesting to be friends , All of them are much younger and basically looking for online dating or ... even though I state very clearly I am happily married.

nah, i just use it to contact my normal friends. Plus myspace is teaming with hackers and pedophiles. So facebook rockz!

When you join your profile is public. Anyone can see it. You can, however, reject anyone who wants to be your frined on the website and ignore them. If someone is harassing you, talk to the support staff. From what I hear, they are pretty helpful.
