Once upon a time they with fearsome-foursome, ruled the cricket emphire. But with the defeat at the 1983, they were dethroned out of the kingdom. With the modern advancement of many techniques the other countries can afford the West Indies also find it very difficult financially too, to regain there monarch.

In every big tournament they play , I keep hoping that they will bring back their old magic from the days of my childhood , but every time they prove me wrong. I guess the fire power and commitment has fizzled out , whatever be the reasons, politics , money, lack of intent. They need a bowler duo to rise from the ashes like the old golden days.
