I love my husband with all my heart...But there something he does that really annoys me...He will be in the living room sitting and watching tv...I will ask him a question or start talking to him loud enough that he should hear me...
1 minute goes by: No response
I wait 5 minutes then ask again the same cycle repeats it self
Finally by the 3rd time he hears me and answers the question...He gets so glue to the tv he zones out it seems lol...The funny part is our son is the same way lol

The thing that annoys me most about my husband is that he could be looking right at you, you ask him a question, and his reply is "huh, I didn't hear you". What the..you were looking right at me you bozo..lol Now don't get me wrong, like you, I love my husband to pieces, but some of the things he does just royally gets on my nerves.

I think the thing that my hubby does that drives me the most batty is I will ask him a question with 2 answers and he will look at me and say ok. For example if I ask him do you want ice cream or a banana chocolate chip muffin for dessert, he will look at me and say ok. Then I ask "Which one?" because he never said. He does that ALL the time and it really urgs me. Sometimes if my hubby is really into whats on tv he won't hear me either so don't feel too bad hun lol.

LOL I hear you there..But at the same time I can't call it a man thing can I? I catch myself sometimes too if I'm deep in thought or glued to something and zone out sometimes it takes a couple times before I hear someone happened today lol

Yes that is very true and it's not just a man thing. If anyone is really interested in what they are watching and someone calls them they very often won't hear because they are SOOOO interested in whatever it is they are watching. One time my mom called me and I had to turn the tv off so that I didn't "zone out" on her.

My boyfriend always interrupts me when I am reading. He could be sitting there, doing his own thing for the better part of an hour but as soon as I pick up a book, well about two minutes after, he tries to start a conversation. I say he is being controlling but he thinks it is just coincidence. Coincidence? Every time? I don't think so.

i am not too worried about it. I just threaten to start reading Cosmo instead so we can do the quizzes together. That usually gives me a few interrruption-free chapters.

In away that could be considered controlling in my opinion, for example it's okay when he is doing something not to take time out and talk with you but it's okay that when you find something to do he decides oh okay lets have a conversation...If it were me I would have a talk with him and explain to him how I feel when he does that...If you need to talk hun I'm here hope this helps...

LOL, I know how that is. My other half gets glued to the tv as well. But what he dose to bug me is he will come in and rather then saying something looks nice in the home he would start looking for bad things or something that I did not get time to do. I am disabled and can not work so I work from home over the computer and just last week I made more that week then he make in 6 months. That was on Ebay. But he keeps telling me that I need to go out and find a job.

yes how their programs on tv have them loose all sense of reality at times lol...Awww I'm sorry that you are dealing with that, I am at a loss for words I don't know how I would handle it if my husband did the same thing..I am a stay at home mom and wife...I am pretty laxed in the cleaning department it seems..We just had a tradegy happen a couple of months ago so i've been coming to terms with that..I feel lucky my husband is understanding of why i want to stay home and he rarely complains about it but when it comes to bills we owe or things we have to pay and it gets overwhelming on the one income it turns into a big deal..if you ever need someone to talk to, i'm a good listener i'm not great in advice but I can sometimes say what I would do in a certain situation..

I will come back to this again later but one of the most annoying things is that he picks his nails. It makes this sound that is very annoying and distracting. He'll even do it while driving and not really have his hands on the wheel, drives me crazy!

Yeah my husband does the same it must be a bloke thing I thought it had something to do with his adhd. The other thing is he doesn't tidy up after himself on a good note though he does almost all of the cooking and he is a fantastic cook.

You know I used to do this when I was younger, not just watching tv but when I was reading or drawing, in fact if I was concentrating on anything at all I used to not hear people speaking to me! The thing that irritates me most about my other half is the fact that we will discuss something - agree on a plan of action and then constantly forget what we decided and ask about 5-6 times! lol xxx

I have experienced the same situation. Lately my husband is addicted to play the computer game. It's OK to play it for a while as the entertainment, but I don't think it's suitable to play it for a long time. So I'm trying to figure out what to do.

I can understand and relate to that my husband is known to do that from time to time..What I've done is asked him can we please have a talk..I've explained to him that I feel like he doesn't want to spend time with me anymore..Usually that works it has for me when I've explained how I feel...
