I was glad to see that Snape was not all bad in the end. I liked how his character was given a closer look at and were told more about him. It was a nice twist in the end to know that he was protecting Harry, even thought it was only because of his mom.

Snape has always been one of my favorite characters. He is snarky and egnimatic...completely mysterious. I was stunned by what was revealed about him in the 'Deathly Hallows', even though you kinda suspected he was a good guy in his own way. Wonderful character development.:)

your right... he played a very character in the book... knowing that he would lose his life from the beginning... he is such a very brave man...
