What is the last movie you went to the theater to see? I rarely go to the theater and I can't even remember the one I went to see. I think it was Matrix Revolutions.

We saw Transformers a few weeks ago. Hopefully, next weekend, we will be going to see Stardust, which I have been awaiting for a long while! My fiance and I are both the sort who like to see new movies in the theater, rather than waiting for the DVDs, particularly since we haven't signed up for Netflix yet, and don't like the video stores in our area.

Did you like Transformers? My 8 year old has been bugging me to go see it, but I've heard that it isn't really kid appropriate. What did you think of it? :)

Typically, my husband and I go to one movie a year, he hates to go to the moveis so that's what he does for me for our anniversary. It's so expensive too, so we can't afford to go too often and it's always a matinee and I always have snacks with me. However, this past weekend I told him we needed to go on a date, so we went to see Fantastic Four, Rise of the Silver Surfer, (if I'm going to get him to the movies, it has to be something he'll like), it was a pretty good movie, our 9 year old son wants to see it, but doesn't do well in theaters so this is one I'll end up buying for him.

The last movie I went to see at the theaters was "I now pronounce you chuck and larry." GREAT FILM! I thought it was hysterical and I of course adore Adam Sandler and Kevin James. Both terrific actors that have us laughing our butts off! :)

I like Kevin James most of the time. I like Adam Sandler when he isn't doing stupid movies like water boy. But, that's just my opinion. I loved him in 50 First Dates.

Wow--you sound as bad as I am about going to movies...LOL..I'm not much of a movie goer since they are so expensive now and I can't figure out how people can regularly go to a movie on a weekly basis especially if they have large families. The last two movies I went to see were Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, then Chronicles of Narnia both in 2005!! I was so ticked off cause I really wanted to see the latest HP movie...and guess what,...it didn't play there! ARGH!

They are expensive and I'm just not a people person. People usually annoy the heck out of me. I enjoy stuff more when I'm with a small group or just my b/f.

I went with my husband on Saturday to see I pronounce you Chuck & Larry.
It was pretty funny but the ending was a little slow for me. Overall it was a good movie. I really wanted to see I know who killed me. I doubt I will be going to the movies again any time soon. Boo hoo.
We go maybe twice a year.

Harry Potter and just before that transformers, we've been going to the theatre a lot because the air conditioning is better and it's been in the 90's here.
