What is your favorite flower to grow in your garden? I love Vincas. I love getting all the different varieties available and mixing them together. It does help that most of them are of the pink and purple families because I love those colors.

My faorite flower is Lilies. I have some in my garden along with Daisies which are my second favorite. I would love to get another couple varieties of Lilies in my garden.

I've had really great luck with the Stella D'oro lilies. They used to only be available in a yellow/gold color, but now several colors are available. They're a perennial and they bloom off & on all summer, which is unusual for perennials.

At the moment, I don't have a flower garden. But hopefully next spring I'll be able to plant one. When I put it together, it'll have roses, jasmine, columbines, pansies, snap dragons and anything else that strikes me when I go shopping. I'd love to plant a nice gardenia bush, but I don't think it would survive the winters here.

Close-up of a sunflower - photo of a sunflower
Since I live in an apartment, I obviously don't have a garden...LOL...but I love to take walks just down a few blocks from me where there are two-family homes with beautiful gardens, and I'm so envious as I too would love to someday have my own home with a garden...Many of these gardens have my favorite type of flowers, like cheery bright sunflowers, black-eyed susans, cosmos, lilies of all kinds and the list goes on and on...Anyway, I often take my camera along when I go on these walks and photograph the flowers...Here's one close-up of a sunflower I took one time in one of my walks

I have alot of favorites and keep changing my mind as to which one I love the most. This year it is the coneflower or daises and anything that looks like a daisy I love the black eyed susans because the color is so bright and a plus because it looks like a daisy.

Phlox is one of my favorites. It's one of the first things to start blooming in the spring and it blooms for quite a long time. Even when it's finished blooming the greenery it leaves behind stays fresh and vibrant all summer. Another favorite of mine is Indian Chief Sedum. It changes constantly all season long until it's glory days in the fall. Late season butterflies really like it too!
