Yes gang I fell again today. I had another dizzy spell today and fell with my arms full of quart jars. I fell in the kitcher on the floor. I did not hurt myself I just droped the jars. I picked myself up and put the jars in the diswasher and started the dishwasher. Tonight I was canning tomatoe juice and I lost 3 quarts of juice in the water bath. I think the jars that broke in the water bath where the jars I droped this moring. The worst part is I am now having muscle spasms in my lower back. I cannot hardly walk upright. OUCH!
I did have a doctor's appointment today that was something that was scheduled already it was just a fluck that I fell today. She wants me to go back to my neurlogist to see if I should go back to University of San Francisco and see if I can find our what the heck is going on with me. I am getting worse again.
I do not want to walk with a walker again, I am 48 for gosh sakes, I want to be well and go to work and be a vital part of society.
OK I am a bit depressed about my health tonight. My back is killing me, and I can see over the last few weeks I am going down hill again and I do not even have a diagnosis. If I could have a diagnosis I then could know what I am fighting. LOL
At least when I have fallen I have not really hurt myself. I have had small bruises and muscle pain but not broken bones and no ambulance rides. Yayaya
Have any of you had an illness that no one seems to know what you have no matter how many physicials you have gone too. I have been to UCLA, Stanford to two
Doctors, several doctors in the area, Neurlogist, ear nose and throat specialists, University of San Franciso, I am tried of Doctors, I am tired of being sick and tired. LOL

Oh My goodness! I am sooooo sorry to hear that you fell. I am glad you didn't get hurt! I hate going to doctors and would avoid it at all cost if I could. I am sorry to hear about your back. I hope they can find out what is wrong with it to make you feel better soon. It sucks. When things like this happen we have to stop everything we are doing and work at getting well. Get some rest and my thoughts are with ya! Vicki

I can hardly move this morning, I did call my doctor to see if there is something I can take. I am in so much pain. I just want to cry. I have to go out to a financial institution to get a personal matter taken care of then go to the DMV. I will be in so much pain but it has to be done today so I can get the tags on my son's turck, he lives in another state, so he cannot do it. I know he will appreciate it.

I hear you and do understand your frustration, and the only way to win is keep going back and make sure you tell them everything that is happening, do not expect your doctor to give the specialists any information other than that you are driving them crazy and they have run out of ideas. It took me 3 years to get an answer, and the other day my doctor told me they still only do not know what is wrong with me, they know I suffer from dementia and agree on that but what is causing the dementia is any ones guess. But at least my own doctor has found a medication, actually 2 that keep me functioning, and for that I bless her every day.I hated the going from doctor to doctor as they made me feel as if I was not really ill.

Robin you are to young to have dementia. Wow what bad news. I hope the medication can keep you going. Me being an RN knows what dementia can do to a person. Keep yourself safe. What good advise you have for me. I will get of the internet when I am finished here and call my neurlogist and make an appointment. Thanks again.

I don't know if you have ever heard of range of motion. It is a medical exercise and will help your back. I suggested that you take it easy, because once you hurt your back, it is so easy to make it worse.
Not only that, the muscle relaxent is given to help you to relax. It causes every muscle in your body to relax and eventually puts you to sleep. The best thing for a backache is bed rest and range of motion exercises.

They say when you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on. I know that this may not be what you want to hear, but you have got to push to keep going.
I fall a lot, because I am accident prone. I never know what amount of damage I will suffer when I get back up, if I am able to get back up. I should be walking with a cane and I don't want to either. I will be 38 years old on the ninth of August. I am too young to be walking with a cane.
The worst fall that I ever had was in January of last year, I broke my leg. That was the worst pain that I have ever experienced in my life. But, I got through it and you will too. You have got to keep going.
Even when things like this go wrong, we have to remember that God is still in control of the situation. What I do is just believe in that scripture that says, what the devil meant for evil, God will turn for good, so that he may be glorified.
The best thing that I take for back pain is muscle relaxers. They will also help you to sleep and it sounds like you can use a little rest. Take it easy for a few days. Then when you go to the doctor again, you will be in a better frame of mind and well rested.

Thank you for the advise. I have never broken a bone. I did call a doctor today. I got a mucle relaxant this evening. I am hurting but not as bad. I can sleep most of the day tomorrow. I have been trying to do some things, I do not want to just sit around, I think just sitting is worst for anything.
I feel working through some pain is better then just sitting.
I will keep you posted as to how I am doing.
Thanks again.

Hi teapotmommerced. I know you're having a lot of difficulties but the FIRST thing that you have to do is THINK POSITIVE. Don't think as a curse but as a blessing...

Gee hun, I thought I was the only one who did that! In 1997 I was having severe pain in my back and my doctor kept teling me it was just arthritis and I had to learn to live with it. I switched doctors and he referred me to a specialist. It turned out that I had stenosis in two vertabrae that was cutting my spinal cord into. Had I waited I would have been paralyzed and eventually had kidney failure. I had surgery and can still walk some but am limited. So keep trying to find the answer.

I am glad you found the right doctor. I will be calling my neurlogist today. I have called my GP who I saw yesterday to try to get something for my back pain. I am hurting so bad I can hardly move, sit, lay or sleep. Just take me out and shoot me. LOL
