Lately I seem to be addicted to ebay. I've been buying everything under the sun that my hubby and I want from there. I need to stop but since I started working part time and have gotten some extra hoursat work I seem to have lots of money to just blow on us which hasn't happened to much here lately. Is anyone else addicted to ebay? Do you even buy from ebay?

I am what you call an "ebay window shopper" and also a buyer. I love going to "real" shops, then later go online and search for the same item on ebay to find a cheaper price. I mostly buy Japaneses dolls and textbooks. I've tried selling but I don't think I tried hard enough.

I have never used Ebay. My number one reason is that some of the prices for the items seem to unreal to me. I have always wanted to buy off Ebay but it just seems to good to be true can you please tell me if you actually received all your products bought in the same condition discribed and for the same value.

The only time I didn't get what I purchased was when the mail person delivered it to the wrong address. Some people are so stupid. Other than that I've had great experiences over the past years that I've been on ebay.

I only go on ebay on occasion. I do not buy on there all the time. Mainly if I am trying to find something that is hard to find that I order anything on there.

christening gown - Saras christening gown
I love ebay. My husband tells me to stay off of it for a while because sometimes I go crazy. I use to buy all of our DVDs off of it. You just have to be careful of who you are buying from. Check the feedback from other people who purchased from them. I bought my first daughters christening gown off of there for only $25 and it was beautiful. I just got my second daughters for $35 they are brand new gowns and they are so beautiful. I love them.

I like to look on ebay, but I am cheap and hate spending my money on things I don't really need, and I find all kinds of those things on ebay! But, I do buy things occassionally, I just don't have a lot of extra money to spend right now, we are saving to buy a house early next year. But, I really enjoy looking at all the items, you can get almost anything on ebay, you just have to find the right price!

I do a lot of buying on ebay. I like to use ebay to replace things that have broken or worn out, as well as to find unique items for projects, gifts or just to have.

Oh dear, yes it is easy to become addicted to ebay, particularly when you first discover it. There is a real adrenaline rush to winning an item that has been in a bidding war. Once you get used to ebay you try to time the very last bid and guess how much your chief rival in bidding will bid so that you can go just above it. I have been trying to start a small business so my activities have been curtailed in that I don't have any spare money, but recently I went in to get a sixtieth birthday present for a friend and bagged two wedgwood pots for five pounds (ten dollars). They ar perfect, boxed and even have the little Wedgwood leaflet inside! I am now trying to get some hi tec trainers for my man and we don't want to spend a fortune so that is the next thing I shall bid on. If you are very disciplined and look for items you genuinely need you can save money by using ebay but if you get side tracked and bid on lots of things . . . Try giving your husband this tip, put items onto his watch list but don't bid, then see if they are worth having as the time to close the bid approaches. You can sometimes spot a flaw in something if you keep going back to it, whereas if you get into a bidding frenzy you are not as fussy. I hope that he manages to channel his bidding activities into saving you money on things you need rather than spending it on things you don't!
