We can't live without water. And water is very important for us. I think drinking more water is a healthy way and I'm trying to do so. I already get rid of drinking cola etc.
I bought a new big glass. So when I am in the office, I will drink it all every time. Since it's a big glass, so I can drink more water than before:)

Yeah, I'm don't really feel comfortable drinking sodas and juices that are not 100% juice. I spent about a month just drinking water and eating fruits and I felt so great! My skin was a lot softer and hydrated! Once I stopped and I drank a soda, I felt like I was just poisoning my body with it! I usually walk around with a cold water bottle and sip on that whenever I get thirsty.

I don't drink enough water myself but I'm try to drink it more. I drink a lot of juice. I don't drink soda I just don't like the taste of soda anymore. I don't like the taste of water I need to have some kind of taste so I put lime juice in it. I also drink my water warm. I can stand to drink it better when it's warm than cold. I try to trick myself into thinking I'm drinking tea that way.

I fill 6 water bottles every morning and keep on my desk and my goal is to drink them all by the end of the day. It works for me and since I have access to water I drink it anytime.

That sounds like a good idea. If the water is there at your fingertips, you do not have to get up and go to the kitchen or the water fountain all the time. You can still work on the computer, reach for a glass, and take a sip before you are thirsty. And people will see how productive you are. You are killing two birds with one stone as they say.

I do agree that drinking lots of water is healthy. I have also intended to drink plenty of water as a habit or part of my lifestyle. Although I do not count how many glasses I drink in a day. I make sure that I do get enough. When I have the chance to drink, I do drink not one glass but two or three, and many times in a day. Although then I try to limit my drinking of water at night time. It's because my sleep get disrupted by my frequent visits to the bathroom. My last water consumption would be at dinner time.

yes, this is most excellant way to get water but I suffer from bladder problems..and i take water mixed with just enough cranberry juice ..not too much as this is most bitter...but in the right amount it is good..plus my kidneys are good and my bladder is rid of infections..as bacteria can't abide the acid..but i use small bottles and chug them one at a time..maybe 12 or 20 ounces.it make me feel better doing this then a 32 ounce cup..but i don't like my water too cold..as this is not good for your guts

That's actually kind of clever, hadn't thought of it, but might try it. It's hard forme to drink water unless there is a little bit of lime or lemon juice in it. It's also hard to keep fresh lime and lemon wedges around al of the time and the bottled juice extract junk really doesn't help like the real thing, maybe a new cup and some kind of clever little tupperware container could do the trick for me.

I hate water and know I need to drink it too. I did what you did too. I sip on it all day, to make sure I get 4 to 8 glasses a day. Thanks for the advise, keep up the good work.

That is really a good way to drink more water, youless!. I know that when I have a bottle of water close to me, I drink more water than when it's not. I don't know why but I feel like drinking very often when I keep something drinable, beside me. So, I understand how keeping big glass will help you drink more. In fact, trying such things is just a way to tempt ourselves more and I believe that you have come up with a good idea to do that.

That is a great idea. I to also gave up drinking diet soda and just started drinking water and I found that if I put mine in a big jug with lots of ice in in I drink at least one maybe even two a day. But watch out because you will go to the bathroom a lot more!

You're like me! Hehe! I keep a water jug at work and at home in my room all the time, so I'm more apt to drink water. Often I'm too lazy to get up and get it so I don't drink anything at all, or if I do stand up and go to the kitchen (at home and at work) I usually end up getting soda or a soft drink. So I definitely agree on the water bottle idea...it even encourages me to drink water when I'm not thirsty, since it's right here. Lol.

I was being so good about drinking water everyday when I was pregnant. And after that, I kept up the good habit. Then, a few months ago I left my job and now I'm at home-- and I always 'forget' to drink water. I barely even drink anything in a day. I need to find me a way to drink water, because I swear that helps me lose weight. I need incentive to do it. I wonder if there is anything out there to help me.
