My lot puts a star and a number in it on the top of our avatar. Some one please explain what does the colour of star represent and what does the number represent?

star rating definately affects, i have rating of 7 and get a rough figure of about 1 cent per post, i've heard some people of rating 10 getting 3 cent perpost, i now have started participating in good terms

simple, the start and number ndicates ur rank on mylot. its a gud way to know who the real ,true ppl are here and whom whould u be frnds of!!! the no.10 resembles the best rank! and the lesser number means the less vote u get for ur replies and so the less rank. hope this helps! njoy!!

Unfortunately, real true people also end up with lower ranks. Personally I've given my best to all my post and I try to help whenever I can.

The color of the star really means nothing. It is simply the color associated with the number IN the star. Ten is the highest star you can go. It is based on the number of times users rate your responses and discussions positive or negative. For instance, you have a seven star. When you run your cursor over your star, you'll see 70/100. That means 7 out of 10 times, people rate you with a positive. I hope I have helped. Oh, and star rating does not affect our payments in any way.
