Blogging to earn? extra source of income...

I've recently started a new blog, one aimed to get views by sharing and interviewing the busy world of online communities and interesting sites.
This made me wonder how many mylotters do this by placing ads to there blogs, do you try to earn from blogging?
For myself, I find the process of blogging for so either way I'm enjoying it and I have to say I hope to pick some tips up for newbiegen.com :) anyone who's into blogging can feel free to share tips or advice/comment here and if you interested check the site above.

I have only two blog so far but its about money making, I want to start other kind of blogging separate from money making program....I read a lot blog for blogging for money and found most of them said the way but those needs a blog of good rank, more than 20 posts for last 30 days etc defferent brequirement...so it takes time to go so far right?
