Does the everyday stress make depression worse for you? Are you afraid to go out because you are so down? Have you found something that brings the depression to the surface wuicker than anything else? My depression is often triggered from stressful events in my life!

Wow I read that question totally wrong.. half asleep here I think lol.. In a way yes it does, Constantly listening to people repeat them selfs (my mother) it gets annoying and stressful and it is depressing.. But a friend had told me not to let the little things like that get me down there is so much more in life than being depressed and annoyed... Doing other things in life has helped alot going out and forgetting about depression and stress really does a person good!! Happy posting!!!!

I'm very used to every day stress and have learned to handle it. My big problem is being alone too much. That is what depresses me the most. Since I'm going to be starting a new job I think I've taken care of that problem finally...

Right now, it doesn't really feel like the depression goes away. I feel like my job is a constant reminder of how little I've accomplished, and I have no money.
Hmm...I'm a bit of a downer. Sorry. I just need to get to a more stable place in my life. Preferably one where I can afford to eat.

Depression often roots from our self assessment. Usually, when we are faced with troubles and we think that we are incapable of solving it, we become depressed. I think, this is true with me. I get pressured solving problems and when I don't get to find a solution, I consider myself a failure. Which is not good.

Things that make depression linger or worse are one of the four:
1-Being alone, in the sense you have no one 2 vent 2.
2-U know why u r depressed but u don't know or can't do anything about it.
3-Not realizing why you're depressed.
4-Onging other stresses.
Thank you very much for the post.

Most time, its my work..with ontime deliveries and work loads. I try to divert mind on music and i feel better. We need to manage depression, as it is part of life in busy world.
But if we concentrate, we can manage it. I does it through my yoga, listening music and going out on vacation.
