It's Terrible ..since it was during "rush hour" ..that is when people are returning from work: it was a 4 lane bridge over water..they say at least 50 cars in the river.

I am praying for the people as I write this. May God send his angels to help rescue more people. It's sad what is happening.

It doesn't matter where a person is ..prayers travel faster then the speed of light and touch the heart of God..He is probably hearing many of them for this situation.

It is so easy to be complacent when watching something like this on tv, because we are so far removed from it. But can you put yourself in the place of one of the cars that was on the bridge when it collapsed? How terrifying! Our bridges and overpasses are something we take for granted and expect to be there for us! Wow! Prayers indeed...

I think that I can say I am not complacent...I live in a town that has experienced the same thing..No, I have not lost loved ones..but I can truly understand as I have heard the story of the silver bridge that collapsed here in point pleasant 40 years ago this December..It collapsed while it was full of christmas commutor..I do believe over 60 were killed and many more injured.
