Do you ever miss your cats when you travel?

I have been gone a week on vacation. I am visiting my parents as my little brother got married on Sunday. And I miss my fur babies terribly! I had to leave them at home as my father is allergic to them and my mother won't allow them in the house. So I miss them, my Best Friend is cat sitting--checking up on them every couple of days and calling me to tell me how they are. But as much as I love my family, I am ready to go home and give my cats some pettins!
Have you ever been on vacation and missed your kitties?

I miss my cats if I'm get home late from work. LOL So, yes, I miss my cats when I travel. I worry about them. I worry that someone else won't take care of them as well as I do. I worry that they have gotten into something and gotten hurt. I just worry a lot.

It is really hard for us to leave our cats for even a day. The longest that we left them once was two weeks when we went to Mexico, when we came back they were mad at us.While we were gone we talked about them every day. I have seven cats and I love them very much.

We don't have cats but we do have two dogs. We do miss them when we are gone on vacation and such. We got back from vacation last week and we left our small dog with my father in law and the big dog is an outside dog so we left her here and the neighbor took care of her for us. We did miss them while we were gone and I think they missed us too cause they were going crazy (jumping everywhere and licking us) when we got back home to them.

same as here.if i go out even for a couple hours i cant stop my self thinking and worrying about them. i dont to them to get hurt and i dont trust kids looking after them because modt of them treat cat as a toy. so i rather leave them inside the house alone and i rush go back hame to feed them.my father said that im not treating them as a pet but as a master... that i have to include them in my budget and buy them staffs....

Fortunately, i don't have such experience. i love dogs very much and so do my parents. Now there're all together 4 dogs in my home and two of them are very large. Every week i can't wait going back home to see them because they are so lovely that every time i think of them i smile sweetly.

Oh yes - I love travelling, but I ALWAYS miss my cats. I will never put them into a cattery or anything, so I have a really old and trusted girlfriend who comes to live in the house when we're away, so I know they remain in the home environment and are well looked after. And yet I still always send her an SMS every morning and every night, to check on them! And if I go away without my partner, I always ring or text him twice a day to check on them, and he always laughs and says I ask after the cats before I ask after him!!

I can remember going on a holiday once and our neighbours looked after our cats, they are very caring people and looked after them well, but after a few days I had to ring up just to check on them and make sure they were ok! My neighbours laughed at me but I care for my cats like they are my children and not being around them for that long wasnt fun for me!
