Do you always reach your office on time ?

Sometimes I was late. Either I did not get the autorikshaw, bus or some last minute inconvenience like phone, child vomitting etc. or some guests arrived like that. But in my office they allow two late marks in red and for the third mark one leave is cut. Even that I got once. Usually when it is third mark, we will go home. Why to work and then loose a leave? But one day the third mark was excused by the highest authority. Still after two months, they cut one leave for me. They said even the higher authority did not have power to condone the late attendance. That particular day I worked for one hour more also. It was utter waste. Instead I could have enjoyed that day's leave.

When I was still working, I must admit, I experienced being late for few times also. But I make it sure to come on time. But there were reasons why I became late.

No not always, smtimes I even reach later than my boss, but its ok, my boss dosen't complain as long as I don't repeat the mistake again in the same week... He has a very casual approach...

I have to say that I am often late, around 15 minutes to half an hour late most of the time. I am not proud of it though, if our boss was more strict about our time in I can improve on it, but it doesn't really help when you go in and there's nobody in the office, even if I was already late, meaning people even come later!

for the past 2 years i was always late in going to my office. i was a bit lack in terms of punctuality and i usually think that i still got time to spare so i don't usually hurry. after sometime, i learned that my tardiness is getting worse so i decided to take a step about it. i tried to start scheduled things at least an hour before. and good thing, i think i have alleviated myself from the bad practice i used to do.

I am always 1/2 hour early. I have been at this job for 3 years and I was late once. What about you? Do you always reach your office on time?
