MyLot answers messages

I have no idea of this bullying situation. I am very pleased that My Lot admin do not seemn to be disappearing, & have replied to you regarding this nasty person. Hope they take appropiate action. Will you PM me with who this person is? If she/he is on my friends list, I would like to dump them.

I've been to that post, I believe. I also wrote a message to the admin, asking about this particular issue. I saw those "rude" tags put on her discussion, I really find it intollerable and ignorant of that certain member to put inappropriate tags on someone else's topic. I just wish this cheating ends up very soon, hope that mylot admins acts quickly and "kick out" that mylot violator here for good. Anyways, thanks for the good news and good day to you my friend!;)

I have not seen or heard anything regarding this subject. It suprises me that myLot is so careful in the use of certain words yet would allow something like this to happen.

I also wrote to admin about the situation plagueing our mutual friend. I have not received a response. I am glad you did. Thank you for letting us know that you got a response and what you were told.

I'd have to say no I haven't but I did start a post one time and I had someone answer with a most rude remark then had the brass to ask to be on my friends list. Not going to happen. It takes all sorts and why anyone has to do stuff like this is beyond me. Always takes one to buggar things up. Take Care...

I know who you mean pal and it is about time something was being done about people like that , I love this site we can laugh or cry with our friends because of good discussions but we don't need hastle , I just don't understand the mentality of some people , As my hubby always says " you usually get a few bad apples in every barrel" but we need to bin them , glad you got an answer pal , I used to get an answer almost every time for admin too , xxxxx

I wish that MyLot would consider removing tags. There should be a way to report cheaters or abusers. It was nice at first to see the star ratings. It was a boost fo rmany. But, knowing that because of the rating system, many of my good friends have left or aren't as active as they once were. They wrote quality discussions and responded with well thought out responses and for their efforts were rewarded with a star rating of 6 or 7.

I never have asked them about the tags, but other things and so far they have taken care of the problems I was having. I had a stalker and well that stalker is no longer with us, him and all of his other IDs he posted under are gone. Maybe that is what they are getting ready to do with your friends stalker, find out who is doing it and get rid of them.

I heard back from them quite quickly. Here is their response to me: We are very aware of this situation and our tech people are working on this problem as we speak. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and we will have this situation solved soon. myLot Staff Seeing that they say the 'techs' are working on it, Maybe they are trying to FIX the problem and not just remove the tags this time. I think it is awful the things that were tagged on her threads as well as the ones we have seen in the past. There has to be a way to fix it. I remember for a while there was no tag option on the thread. You had to tag from your response. I like that mylot will get back to most pm's.I usually get a reply from them. Maybe not right away but they are pretty good about responding to messages. I am sure they get a lot of them.

While I have not seen the discussions in question, or if I answered/read teh discussions I didn't notice the tags, I am glad to hear that myLot is taking care of the situation. There is no sense in childish behavior such as what you have described. To bully and follow someone around the boards is very childlike. Now, I have labeled some discussions as 'spam' before...when it applied! ( a 'discussion' started with nothing but a referral link)

That is sad that people feel the need to bring other people down to their level. I just dont understand people. I am impressed that the Mylot staff is on the case though. That is wonderful. How long did it take you to get a reply from them?

I had the same problem for a while and I know of other people who left mylot because of this situation. I am really glad to hear that Mylot is planning on doing something about this situation. I myself am very stingy in using the - but I have seen some responses that deserve it - but to stalk a user is dumb - I make a few cents coming here to discuss. You certainly can't make any money stalking people.

I did send a message but haven't gotten an answer. When I first saw this I thought the person that started the discussion was tagging it this way. It took a few minutes to realize she was the target. Thanks for bring this up. R

I have seen this happen over & over. I am curious as to who you are referring to. Just when I've thought I've seen everything, something new suddenly rears its ugly head & brings down morale.

I have seen this bullying going on and the bullies have resulted to write very long posts, or rather rants. It usually happens in controversial posts when one person says something about protecting unborn babies, or someone else talks about upholding God in the public place, capital punishment, euthanasia,etc. and then the responder starts raving and ranting and calling the original poster names. Sometimes they change the subject or take it out of context. I suspect I may have been one who was attacked, and even if I were not, I would like to thank you for writing to myLot. I hope I was not an attacker.

Oh my dayz just as well that I have had some time out lol otherwise I know they would have done the same to me. How can people be so nasty and waste their energy and life by upsetting others? I am very glad there are good friends on Mylot looking out for one another and I am glad that I am back again and hope todo some more posting and responding tomy friends' discussions. I do sincerely hope Mylot has sorted out the nasty issue at hand by now and your friend can get on with some proper Mylot business.

I am sorry about this. I think we just can't please everyone. I do hope mylot will do something for those who are working hard and helping our several mylotters. It is unfair for the mylotter to be treated this way. I know friends can attest that this mylotter have good intentions and doing good things. God bless!

I disagree. They still haven't found my stalker or stalkers. Granted I've gained a little ground, but I know I've been held back because of them. From my perspective Mylot doesn't respond or listen. I dare say there might be slight favoritism but of course I don't have any real proof.
