What do you think of happiness ?Do you feel happy now?

I am a 41 year old, stay at home mom to the sweetest almost 3 yr old little boy who I thought I would never be able to have. Three years ago we conceived after over tens years of believing that we never could. I believe that everything I have ever done in my life was in some way preparing me for this time in my life. I have had a good career, I have traveled, I have been able to put away some money and now I am blessed to be able to stay home with my child and experience each day of his life with him. I am very happy!!! Would I change a few things? Sure, I believe that it is not healthy to ever become to comfortable and satified with things as that could lead to no longer learning and growing. I have a wonderful husband who loves me very much, a son who is a product of that love and a life that we are both very proud to be able to provide for our son. Happiness indeed.

I am not a person with great ambition, at least right now. so happiness to me is quite simple. Every morning,when I wake up, usually I do not have a pressing task,I live a leisure and slow paced life. to some extent, I am lazy.I hope I have time to look up into the sky at night and wonder what these twinkling stars are really like as what I often did in my childhood;I hope I have time to listen to the songs of the birds perching in the trees of the forests,and I hope I have time to view the scenery on my way to work,and I hope ......Hehehe....so many hopes. Most often, I said to my self; No news is good news. Cos I know if there is no news, those people I do care are OK.I do not expect many pleasant surprises, even I like to hear good news from my friends. I am a easy pleased person.:) .I aften remind myself the more I expect, The more I will be disappointed.so I do not expect a lot.lol... I can say I am contented right now. feel happy? frankly speaking,I do not know.

There are days when I feel happiness in my heart but some other days not so much. You are right that happiness does not last for long.

Happiness is satisfaction of ones individual mind. Without satisfaction none cannot say I am happy because dissatisfaction always makes one unhappy. I feel happy always as I have no big want and I do not have ambition beyond my ability so I am am always happy. Happiness and saddness both are parts of our life just like a side of coin. After sorrow happines come if we can try to get relief from sorrows and after happiness sorrow come if we cannot handle happiness right way.
