Do you Decide things Easily, or do you take a long time to do it?

I think that in general i'm fast to decide things. Obviously, there are times when i take a while, or ask for other people's opinions etc. But in most things i think i don't mindboggle too much, i find it unhealthy really, and doesn't help me much to make the right decision.
What about you? do you decide things easily or do you take a long while of doubting and such?

It's the little things that take me forever. What do I want to eat for lunch? What am I going to buy at the store? What am I going to wear today? Those kinds of decisions can take me forever, and I quibble and change my mind and ask opinions...
But when it comes to the big decisions in life, it seems like I always just know. =)

yea..i too decide things very easily n quickly..
and yea..i do take others opinion too but i dont depend on others and also there opinion is just a back up for me..i do tkae my decision on my own..coz if we kep postponing it,,it creates unnecessary tension and confusion..so i take decisions wisely and quickly..!!

Well it depends what situation it is and in what situation i am at life. I do know that there are alote of things that i decide about easily because i do know myself and my abilities to cope with different situation.
But there are other things that are really connected to decision about other people's life that i take time off and really sit and think what i should do.

It wouold really depend on the situation Lightnin Honey! Normally I can be quite impulsive and decide on things quite quickly - not always with the best results! lol There are decisions I make (usually to do with my kids) that I wrack myself about as I feel it is to important and I have to make the right decision! xxxx

yeah, those important decisions are harder to make, aren't they? i just feel they are not complicated most of the time. But what they imply stops us from acting impulsively no matter if we have already made up our minds.

It depends on the situation. SOmetimes there is a situation that needs further examination, to check whetether it needs time for me to decide or could be easy enough to decide. If the there's still time to think and needs time to thik it deeply like serious matters, then it should be or else i will end up to nothing. I hate blaming anybody if i made a mistake in making decidions. But there are times when my ego was being hit, then though i foresee that it's too late or i need to decide and caught in between the two things ...............then i decid instantly without any regret. Nevertheless it's better to learn what the situation needs of...........is it easy to find the exact problem rather that the solutions..........what do you think?

It depends on what it is. some thing big that could change my entire life I would think very hard and weight the pros and cons very carefully. However if it is something silly like what to eat for dinner then I would of course just go with what feels right at the time.

I always think first before I act, atleast that's what I learned from our values education subject during my high school days!;)
I have to think many times, consider everything that might happen/occcur and then take actions. But at times, I feel like I can do anything and do whatever I want without even thinking of the consequences. These are the times when I am mostly I on the stage of hoping that LUCK would be on my side, just like the song "Que Sera Sera" says!;)

Again I'm like you in this.I tend to make my mind up pretty quickly and stick with it - in fact dithering and indecisiveness tends to irritate me! LOL! If it's a very big decision, then I do look at the "pros and cons" first, and sometimes make notes or lists so that I can see more clearly which decision I want to take, but I don't hover between one or the other at all - once I've thought about it, then I make up my mind - and that's it!!!

For important decisions I will normally take my time to make sure I make the right decision so I'll have time to think about it. But for smaller decisions I like to go ahead and just decide. I don't like waiting around and stressing over small things. I would rather be spontaneous and just go with what I think is right.

see you're opposite to other people who have replied here: They're fast for main and slow for the rest, and you're the opposite. As long as it works for all of us... hehe.

It really depends on circumstances. Sometimes it is very easier to decide. And sometimes I have to think over the cause effects of decision to be taken. Decision making is really a crucial part. We should just think over before any decision making which involves some ups and downs.

obviously there are always things to consider when u make an important decision, but i believe that with crucial decisions it happens that they're very easy to decide about. The hard part is assuming the consequences of that decision..there lies the hard part.

I'm really horrible at decision making. I hate making decisions actually. However, I work completely on impulse. So if I'm at a restaurant and I can't decide what I want... I get the one that I felt most drawn to on that first impulse. You know? When I want to buy a movie I pick the one that drew me in. I completey rely on my impulse for most of my decision making and luckily, it's worked out pretty well. So I guess... I usually make decisions fairly fast being that I rely on impulse.

Depends on the importance of the individual case, if it's just about purchasing some household things, i don't usually think too much. But recently i spend a long time to think about a decision, it's about moving and start working in a foreign country. I have to give up everything i am having now, leaving family and friends to a place that is 100% new to me. It took quite some time to think about it.

Making decisions is always hard for me. I'm sure it has to do with confidence in myself. It always takes me days to decide what to do...if I have the time. If I have to make a quick decision I usually call my mother or daughter to see what they think and I'll go from there. I don't like it when I have to make a decision on my own.

looking for help or advice is not bad, even though one must be able to know that he or she has to do certain things on themselves sometimes, and the final decision is theirs. I hope that with time you get there :)

If usually decide on most things fast and easy. But for things that are really important, it takes me a day or two to finally come up with a final decision. I usually listen to my instinct and if I feel that I should give more time and consideration on certain things, then I don't rush them up.

First i dont want rely on others who think they are pride enough to give suggestion to others.I really hate them.Depending upon the situation,i will decide as it is worthy to take decision of my own or it is given to others.Actually i avoid small decision making things to tell to others. If the decision is extremely hot then i keep it in front of my dad only and i will not realsed it to other.
My suggestion is it is better to adopt ourself in such a way that we should solve the problem by ourselves without taking a helping hand from others. This helps us in facing any difficult problems to solve easily.
What do u say............

In some cases I decide things easily but if it is complicated I have to think first and do's and don'ts. I don't want to take for granted when making a decision. It is for a better result.

If it is something very important (that is going to greatly impact my life) then I put a lot of thought and soul-searching into it before I decide. In those cases I will often bounce it off someone I trust if I am really unsure. With most smaller things I am generally fairly quick to make a decision. If my decision impacts someone else then that always makes it a bit more difficult.
