I don`t read the book,but I saw the film yesterday. By watch it, I think the book eragon is certainly funny

i think it is a fantastic book i read it in 2004 more than 3 years ago and it was along time waiting for the second book to release and after completing the second book i am dying to lay my hands on the third one

I read this book a lot of time ago, but I think it's a very good story. I know that there is also a movie from this book, but I haven't seen it yet.

Yea ive read the book, its great. I saw the movie first though, and compared to the book the movie stinks. The greatest part would probably be killing Durza or w.e he's called.

both books (Eragon and Eldest) are very good. I am going to read them again

I've read it and "The Eldest." I do a bit of writing myself and I found the books were pretty typical of a young inexperienced writer. Unfortunately, the movie didn't follow the story line of the book which often happens with movies. I try to view movies as a separate entity from the book. There were parts of the movie that I enjoyed, but with a visualization in my head based on the book, it made it difficult to see the movie. However, now that I've seen the movie, the dragon I will visualize for the next book is pretty much set. I loved the film dragon. I just wish they had followed the book more closely.

Yes, I really liked the book. I liked the second one two. It's a little predictable. But, they are still both good stories. I will definitely read the third one when it comes out in paperback.

Hi tragicomiix! See that you just joined. I think the book is good too. The way elves can summon up her power and the first meeting with eragon with the dragon was really exciting. Especially when it came to big screen, I reaaly thought that the dragon looked cool.
