Teaching is great. With my personal experience I can say that there is no other profession in this whole world which is as good as teaching.
Here I would like to give my experience. My husband had been posted to Thailand. So we had to pack up everything in India. In India myself and my husband used to teach children at home. We had almost 30 children who used to come to our house to study math,English and sciences. My husband is basically a chemical engineer but loves to teach so he used to teach children in the early morning hours before going to his office at 8.30. So when we left the place all the children were worried how they are going to manage without us. But we were not. We knew that with what we taught the children, they will never be at a loss. All of them fared well in their exams and many have got 100% marks in Math in 10th Grade.
We shifted to Thailand into an international colony where people from different countries reside. My neighbor was a Japanese family. She had a son going into Grade 1 and a 10months old daughter. She was a friendly lady and we used to communicate with each other mostly with looks as she was not very good at English. For 1 year we managed like that and suddenly one day she asked me that she along with two more ladies want to learn English from me. I said no problem. It will be a pass time for me. We used to have the class in the morning when all work is finished. No any payments and even I used to enjoy teaching them. Gradually it so happened that the students of the near by International school started coming to me for English. They were having bad grades in ESL it seems. Today all of them are in A+ level.
What I want to share with you is that we feel so happy when children show the result of our teaching. Today I can proudly say that I taught at least few children how to speak and write in English. I am sure that I have provided them with a life long asset.

Teaching is great, but a lot of people complain that the pay stinks. Personally, I love teaching no matter what the payment is, even if there is no pay at all, I still love to teach others. I am beginning voice lessons tomorrow. My friends volunteered to be help me out last week. It went pretty well.
