I like your list, this is very inspirational. I feel there is a lot of negative things in life to take your joy from you, and sometime you have to just get some along time from some people and things and do something positive, and this change your out look on life, keep up the good posting, your mylot friend.

That's great, then to end the day before you go to sleep, Read the Bible. This is to complete the cycle of relieving the Physical stress, Psychological stress and last but not the least, the Spiritual Stress.
Good day and God Bless.

Great thoughts!
It's so easy to get sucked into a depression. Just making the smallest effort for a change can help dig yourself out. These are excellent small efforts to help. I will have to remember them as the winter doldrums hit next Jan. :)

This is a great list! I have never been depressed for long, but I do get stressed sometimes. If you stop and think about what is making you stressed it is worse, if you do one of these things it will help you become calm and forget what made you so uptight! Thanks!

I would choose to listen to music. when I feel I am stressed with daily routine and responsibilities I listen to good music. I am a music lover. I feel music is the best remedy to handle down times. Just listen to your favorite music and stress will disappear like this.
I listen music through my portable MP4 player and keep my eyes closed. It's a kind of daily meditation for me.

Bake a cake, make a table cover, do cross stitches, repair a pair of pants, buy a new shirt, go search for hotel rates and planning which one is the best, hunt for new model of mobile phones and compare, decide which car to buy, make a phone call to my husband just to say hi, contact a long lost friend, print your own card design.

I love this list you made! The one I think really stands out is a combo of keeping a journal and counting your blessings--I do that myself...Instead of concentrating on all that's going wrong with ones life, to list a things your are grateful for, from the simplest to the most profound..being able to see a sunset, to hear the birds, etc, etc...The journal I keep is a "gratitude" journal and I make a listing of all I'm grateful each and everyday

I agree I love this list, one of the biggest hurdles when trying to deal with depression and/or stress is the lack of ideas of things that might motivate you, to actually do something. I watch youtube videos to cheer myself up or walk the dog & take photos of nature.
I'd love to make a patio herb garden (no grass or soil in my back yard) - I'll have to look it up in the gardening section - see you've given me an ideas already :)
